The wind dragged at the captain's clothes, tugging at his loose, white cotton tunic with invisible hands. He stood on the bow of the ship, overlooking the clear, tranquil waters of the Yellow Sea. Yoongi leans forward, one hand supporting himself on the bowsprit, the golden figurehead of a mermaid at the end of it.

The pirate ship is buzzing behind him, the sounds of chantey coming from the pirates, drinking and hollering, working to maintain the ship, it was as new as could be, she was yoongi's pride and joy. The Black Jewel of the East was home to around one hundred pirates, all having their roles in the ship.

"We need food," Hoseok, the bosun says, walking up to the captain and leaning on the railing beside him.

"Aye," Yoongi hums in response, never looking away from the sea in front of him, the blue water reflecting in his dark eyes, pondering to himself. "If we have to pillage, then so be it, where's the nearest village?"

"I was looking at the maps, there's a cove near a village in Busan, we can sneak in through there, grab the loot and be off in no time."

Yoongi processes the pirate's words, nodding slowly. "I see," he hums, turning to face the Bosun. "We'll set off for that, gather some more men for a trip to the cove, it will take half a day to get to Busan."

They're just off the coast of Jeju, not too far away, "tell Jeongguk," Yoongi speaks, dark eyes glancing over the pirate before him. "We'll get there early morning while it's still dark, we'll have time to loot it before villagers even wake up," he says, a small smirk on his face. "Don't let me down."

"Aye," Hoseok bows his head as Yoongi walks off towards the deck to retreat to his quarters. He's not one to be out in the open for too long, he finds it unnecessary and he always tries to plan out their future moves on the ocean, where they can cause trouble and mischief.

The pirate stares down at the main deck full of crew working from where he stands on the quarter deck, preparing the longboat for their venture to the main land.

His ship was fashioned from ancient oak, with masts that stood tall. It was adorned by sails of dove white . To see the rich timbers brought a peace inside. The fragrance of the open sea, ever changing, ever constant, ever in motion beneath the clouds who sail above. The salty water that you can almost taste, the steady rocking of the boat back and forth that keeps Yoongi at ease and calm.

"We sail out early morning," he hums, eyes dark.

"Aye," Jeongguk nods, "it's better to travel at night, we need to head east," he points out.

"We'll arrive just outside and send a longboat, gather a small group of men, haul wind."

He sat upon the rocks singing a song of sorrow and heavy heart. Yoongi had never seen him before nor did he know his name. He's been reoccurring in his dreams for as long as he can remember, a boy with pink hair that matches the clouds during sunset, shimmering skin and dark black eyes but sometimes they flash an amber colour.
