"Stay with me," Yoongi insists, holding Jimin's hands between them as they stand by the bowsprit, staring out at the night sky. They're almost to the shore, Jimin will be leaving by sunrise and then it'll be back to how it was before, except things will be different, different without the Siren on board.

"You know I can't," jimin says softly, leaning his forehead against Yoongi's. "Not yet at least, I'll be back if you'll come back for me," Jimin says, looping his arms around yoongi's neck, locking his hands behind his neck, staring at Yoongi with the biggest doe eyes, sparking under the moonlight.

"I'll be wherever you need me to be, I don't know what I'll do without you," Yoongi says, kissing jimin's lips.

"Whatever you did before me, just don't forget about me, that's all I ask."

"I'll be back for you before you know it, could never forget you," Yoongi says.

"Stay out of trouble," Jimin tells him with a soft glare and Yoongi chuckles at that, his shoulders shaking.

"You know I can't promise you that."

"I know, just hold out," Jimin whispers.

"For you."

"For us, Corsair," Jimin whispers and then they kiss again, Yoongi pulling him impossibly closer to relish in their last moments together because who knows if there will be another chance of them. What if this is their one chance to be together again, not like their past but their past has brought them even closer.

They don't want to forget.

Jimin could never forget Yoongi's lips or his kind eyes. How it feels to be in his arms all the time and he'll take that with him for all the moments they're apart. Yoongi's hand trails his hand up to touch the pendant necklace. "Keep the ring and keep the necklace, so it'll be a part of me," Yoongi says as he pulls away and Jimin plays with Yoongi's own. Jimin nods without speaking, feeling choked up over leaving but he has to. "Don't forget me again."

Jimin nods, tracing Yoongi's features with his thumb, "don't believe that me leaving means I will love you less, know that it means I love you more," Jimin hums. Yoongi smiles softly and there is so much sadness in leaving a place where strong long and fond memories have grown, this is Jimin's second home. He'll savour every memory of the ship, the crew and every single feeling Yoongi made him feel, so much so that it will live once more. He knows their love their destiny and that red string of fate will keep their love and them together even when they're far apart, in another lifetime. He hopes no matter what he'll only have to reach out with his mind to grasp the nostalgic moments he's made.

Yoongi nudges his nose against Jimin's own. The siren knows he'll wait as long as it takes for Yoongi to shower him with love like he always does. It's time for him to depart, to do what he has to do to make the changes and sacrifices that are necessary for them to be together.

"I tried for you," Jimin says and he reaches into his pocket and pulls out a folded up piece of paper, a scrap he used from Yoongi's table. Yoongi takes it and unfolds it. On the paper is messy words sprawled out, spelling out "I love you so much, my matelot."and then a drawing, a drawing of Yoongi.
