❝spirals❞

"Wait!" Jimin shouts out, practically flying down the stairs and the Captain turns around, watching the siren run up to him before he throws himself onto the captain, wrapping his legs around his torso and yoongi quickly supports him, hands grabbing at the back of his thighs to keep him up. "I don't want to leave, not yet," Jimin says softly, "if what I feel when I'm with you is true I don't want to lose it, not like the prince from the story," Jimin swallows the lump in his throat, wanting to breathe, properly, knowing that he's not lonely anymore.

He knows he's not just lonely and seeking some sense of love, or what seems like it. He doesn't want to be with yoongi just because he's lonely.

It's their red string of fate.

He feels like he's tied to the pirate, there's a connection.

Yoongi laughs, "so you want it to be like that story? You want to be my prince? But do it right?" Yoongi asks.

"Maybe, if you actually could be my knight."

Yoongi chuckles, nudging his nose against the crook of jimin's neck, "I'm not so lawful."

"And I'm anything but royalty but here we are," Jimin whispers as Yoongi lifts his head up, setting the boy down onto his feet, forgetting who he really is for a moment, who they both are.

They may not be a Prince and a Knight in this realm, and for this moment they're not a pirate and a siren. They're just Jimin and Yoongi, two men destined to be together, somehow, the red string of fate is shortening, so close as Jimin hooks his pinky with yoongi's, the red string they swear they can feel. For a moment there are no knots or tangles, it's not stretched, it'll never break.

Regardless of the time, place or circumstances they're destined lovers, connected by the red thread.

"Here we are," Yoongi agrees, dark eyes meeting his, nudging his nose against Jimin's.

It's just them on the deck, ocean quiet and at rest like the pirates on board the black jewel. Jimin's eyes flutter closed as he feels yoongi's lips ghost his and then they're kissing, their mouths moving against one another's, yoongi's hand fisting into jimin's hair, holding him by the back of his head as Jimin holds onto yoongi's waist, pulling him closer, squeezing.

His hands wander under the captain's tunic, eyes fluttering closed. There's something about him, this moment, wearing the captain's coat and being so close with him, lips and souls connected. It's quite the scene, kissing in front of the moon and the sea, reflecting off the surface of the water like their feelings for one another.

Though they had only just met, they feel like they've known each other for a lifetime. Jimin pulls away, letting out a shaky breath. "I feel like I know you, before the beach, before I saw you, I've had dreams about you,"'he says softly, running a flat hand down yoongi's chest, enjoying the closeness. "They feel like distant memories, I know you have them too, that's why you kissed me in the cave." Jimin caresses yoongi's cheek, staring at him. "I know you're special even though you put up an act, though you've treated me wrong, I know I should hate you but I can't," jimin's voice sounds strained, dropping a lower octave as he talks.

"I didn't want to hurt you, I'm allowing you to leave, you can go back. I regret everything I've done but I'm setting you free if you'd wish."

"Is that what you wish for? You want me to leave?" Jimin asks.

"I'm dangerous for you," Yoongi whispers, planting a kiss along jimin's neck.

"I'm not afraid, throw anything at me and I'll overcome it but you're not answering my question," jimin sighs exasperatedly, comforted by the captain's jacket on, warming him up.
