so I won't go into too much detail of the books except for the last one. I'll start by saying that yoonmin weren't going to die every book. One or both of them only dies in a couple but they were also going to have happy endings as well

Freudian Slip was going to be a super soft book for example about them falling in love, the aristocrat au based on the Victorian era and yoonmin we're going to be aristocrats who fall in love at parties (I'm going to write a thread fic on twitter for it) and as the series went on they'd just go through each book falling in love over and over again.

Then we'd get to the last book where it all unfolds. It was kind of obvious that something was up with Hoseok, in the last book it's based on the future, Yoongi is able to time travel along with Hoseok and some of the others but the thing is... why would yoongi be born in the future and Jimin is living in the 80's?

Yoongi travels back to the 80's to see how life was back then and he meets Jimin at a club. They fall in love but Yoongi realizes that he has so little time to be with him.

(Let's pause there for a sec 🤪🤪)

Hoseok wanted to see how life was like in the different iconic time periods of history. With the technology why wouldn't he go and see? What he didn't expect was to find all his friends living different lives and seeing that Yoongi fell in love with some guy over and over again. Yet after seeing them die in the medieval times, he wants to try and save them from their horrible fate and goes on his journey to try and save them from it all (some times it may work)

Now going back to yoonmin.

Yoongi decides that he could bring Jimin along with him and they could live happily in the future but the problem with that is Jimin still exists in his time.

He's just a lot older (probably around 60 who knows I can't do math)

I never really thought about after that except for the fact that both of them living in the same time period fucks everything up even more but then everything changes.

All the bad ending books would have alternate endings for example

in fire & desire, Yoongi and Jimin would have run away together with their friends

In fear of the water instead of Jimin being a siren, both he and Yoongi would be pirates and would live happily with their crew

And books with happy endings like Freudian slip would have turned bad, jimin goes away abroad or something to travel and pursue more art.

All of that would lead to Jimin and Yoongi being in the same future

And yeah this is probably a shitty explanation and I'm sorry 🥺
