Finally, i was ready. Through all the nagging and constant chirping i had from Derek in my mind, i managed to get dressed and do my hair.

Plus, on top of that, i had Tori messing around with makeup. She didn't put too much; all that was applied was some mascara and a little bit of liner. It definitely didn't look bad, Tori was pretty good.

The hair was probably the most work that took time. The black dye that was recently in my hair was fading, not completely gone, but it showed some of my auburn hair. It was in loose curls and it had a braid on the right side. Very pretty.

My-well not really my choice-of clothing was a cream blouse with some skinny jeans and black flats. You can already tell, this was Tori's choice.

"Stop moving." She scolded.

"I'm not."

"Almost done." She was currently adjusting my shirt. All this, for a couple of hours. Derek you better make sure this is worth it.

"Okay your done. Turn around."

"Thanks Tor." I said and hugged her.

"Don't mention it. Ever."

I laughed and grabbed my phone, then started heading for the door.

"Chloe?"

"Yeah?"

"Don't screw up." She laughed and laid down on her bed.

I shook my head and hurried down the stairs.

"You look beautiful." I looked up and found my aunt sitting on the couch with her laptop, busily typing away.

"Thanks. Uh, where's Derek anyway?"

"Hes out back waiting for you." She said and went back to her laptop.

I halted at the door. Derek was sneaky; he could pull anything... but would he really do that?

Chloe, stop thinking, and get your ass outside

I huffed and turned the door nob, slowly making my way out the deck. I saw Derek walk out of the forest; he was wearing dark jeans, and a black quarter-cut shirt that came up to his elbows. Damn he looked hot.

"And you look beautiful." He said, taking my hand and pulling me along.

My face heated and i moved ore closer to him, making it seem a i was cold.

The day wasnt that bad, but it was getting colder and colder. My aunt and Kit would complain about it all the time.

"You cold?" He mumbled and i shook my head. It was about 3:30 and the sky started to turn a shade of purple and orange. It was perfect.

Derek suddnely lifted me up and carried me over all the rocks and branches.

"I can walk you know." I said.

"In flats, through all these rocks and branches? Without getting hurt?" He shook his head and turned his attention back on the ground.

Okay, so maybe there were a few times ive said, that i could do something and then i end up almost breaking an arm or leg, but hey, that doesnt mean we all cant try again right? Derek wouldnt agree for sure because the last time, i walked into a spider web and went completely ballistic and started running around the forest. Yeah, i see why he wont let me do anything. Im attracted to danger and also accident prone. Not a good mix. I wasnt complaining either that he was carrying me because, we have been walking for the past 20 minutes. Its true what Tomas said about me being more tired and lazy. Believe me when i tell you, i put up such a fight to even wake up in the morning; it takes a bucket of water and Derek ripping off all the covers and having to even put me in the shower and also getting me ready. Like ive said before, im not a morning person, and everyone in the house knows it.
