Last chapter:
"I know," you shrug your shoulders, making your way back to your bed. "Welcome to the Akatsuki." You lay down and pull the blankets over yourself once again. You close your eyes and listen to the shuffling of Sayuri getting into bed, laying down.
Just before you both fall asleep for good, you and Sayuri share a word together.
"Goodnight."
___
Your P.O.V
Like every other morning, there's a specific person that barges into every room to wake up whoever might still be asleep.
Can't guess who it is?
It's Tobi. The living, human lollipop.
He kicks the door open without a care and it slams against your work desk, which is the noise that actually wakes you up every morning. Not his voice, that's for sure.
"Good morning! It's time to wake up and Tobi needs to make sure you get up!" As he's yelling, he walks over to your bed and pulls the blanket off your body.
You groan and whine, opening your eyes, only to see that he does the same to Sayuri.
In no time, you sit up and grab your pillow. You raise it into the air and throw it at his head. "Tobi, let us sleep!" You cry out while getting off your bed. Sayuri wakes up as well and opens her eyes.
Tobi turns around and picks your pillow up, hugging it close as he makes a run for it out of your room, yelling, "Tobi got [Name]'s pillow! Tobi is so happy!"
Too tired and lazy to chase after him, you turn to face Sayuri. "Sorry. He does it every morning." You say and laugh before picking her blanket up from the floor. She laughs with you and pushes herself off the bed.
"Stealing your pillow?" She questions with a small giggle. You just make her bed up after shaking your head, a contented smile present on your face.
"No, not that, but the waking up part." You state then go and fix your bed, making it neat.
As you turn around again to look if everything is right, you see Sayuri standing there, looking a bit guilty. "Oh, and you didn't have to make my bed up." At her words, you just wave your hands.
"It's no problem. Anyway, we really need to get ready. We have to leave with Hidan and...Kakuzu..." You say and quickly walk around her to go to your wardrobe.
"Ah, right!" Sayuri exclaims in realisation as she hurries to get changed.
You chuckle and pull out clean clothes, hanging it over your shoulder before getting your cloak out too.

You're currently sitting outside the base as you wait for Sayuri, Kakuzu and Hidan. The only other members present at the base are Pein and Konan.Everyone else is out on missions and you sigh at the thought of leaving them.
You look down and run your fingers through the grass but stop and look behind you as you hear the boulder being moved. Expecting at least one of the three, you're a little sad to see Konan walk out, two pages in her left hand.
You sigh again and just look ahead, your fingers running through the grass again.
Konan sits down in front of you, obscuring whatever you were blankly staring at.
"Here," she says softly as she holds one page out to you.
You remove your fingers from the grass and raise your hands, hesitantly taking the page from her. Right now, you know it is going to be the last time you will ever do origami, more specifically, with Konan. Ever since you joined, she's been like a sister to you.
She glances at you, starting to fold her page and you do the same, except you keep your eyes focused on what you're doing.
After ten minutes of careful folding and crafting, you place the origami on your right palm. It's a small bird, exactly like Deidara's. You exhale and lean back, allowing your eyes to fall onto what Konan made. You smile sadly as you see it's a tiny figurine of you.
She smiles, tears gathering in her eyes and she holds the little figurine of you out, wanting you to have it.
You take it from her and hold both pieces of origami close to you before carefully putting it in your little extra and empty pouch.
After that, without any kind of warning, you get pulled into a hug. A comforting one.
Just like Konan, you can feel tears forming in your eyes. You wrap your arms around her, embracing the bluenette as well. Slowly, you can feel as the tears roll down.
"I'll...I'll miss you..." You hear Konan crying out, her hands clutching the back of your cloak. In return, you do the same, however you can't utter even a single word.
Slowly, she pulls away and wipes your tears away with her thumbs, her own tears still streaming but she does nothing to stop them.
Sad smiles are exchanged between the two of you before you share one last hug.
***
You're walking behind Hidan and Kakuzu as Sayuri is by your side, her eyes clearly focused on the large man in front of her.You sigh and stare at Hidan's back, your mind just filled with almost everything again.
'Does Pein really think I'm weak? Will my brother, Hidan, miss me? Will everyone else miss me?' As you get lost in your thoughts, your legs stop moving and your eyes remain on Hidan's back.
Sayuri notices your moment of absence and turns around, walking over to you. You snap back to reality as a hand waves in front of you. "Hey, [Name]. Are you okay? Is something bothering you?" You look at her and smile, her words making you feel a little calm.
She nods and offers a smile back as she gently pulls you forward with her, going back to the two men up ahead.
It finally comes to you that Hidan hasn't started an argument at all.
Hidan and Sayuri slowly start coming to a stop, leaving you to be confused. Just as you're about to stop, Kakuzu grabs hold of your upper arm, pulling you to walk ahead of him.
"Kakuzu, you better fucking make sure my sister doesn't get hurt. If something happens to her then it will be your head that comes off!" You hear Hidan yell in the distance, causing your heart to beat faster. You're scared.
What will Kakuzu do that makes Hidan say that?
You don't know, but it surely leaves you frightened to the bone.
Kakuzu is not the type to leave anyone feeling happy.
He's greedy, harsh, serious, and everything else negative. At least this is how you describe him, because that's all that you've seen of him.
You always hoped to see a different side of him, but that never happened.
All you can hear right now is the beating of your heart and his footsteps behind you.
'Sasori...Deidara...Please come save me...'
________________________________________
Here it is, the start of where everything gets serious. Does anyone want to know why the three (Sayuri, Kakuzu and Hidan) took so long to leave the base? Why the origami figure was just like Deidara's clay bird? Or why Hidan and Kakuzu wasn't arguing for once, especially on a mission?
If you want, I can add it in the next chapter. But if not, I'll leave to you and your imagination on why.
I hope this chapter was good. Take care, my readers. Have a good day/night.
