Last chapter:

Even if he is dangerous, he's saving you. He will help you.

You just know it.

And... You are now safe.

"Orochimaru, my savior. I am forever in your debt..."

___

After a long while of walking, you find yourself standing in front of a hideout looking place. You slowly look up at Orochimaru, seeing a small grin on his face.

“Come, little one. There is three people that I want you to meet,” is all he says before walking ahead. As quietly as possible, you follow behind. Letting your mind wander off, you stay behind him as the both of you walk inside.

The first thing you notice is the tunnel-like appearance. The only difference is that there are doors on both sides, going all the way down, or at least that's what you guess.

Orochimaru walks at a steady pace, soon stopping at a door. Even though Orochimaru did not knock, the door opens to reveal a man with white hair pulled into a ponytail and circle-rimmed glasses.

“Ah, Kabuto. I would like for you to meet [Name],” Orochimaru begins, his grin much wider now. “She will be joining us.”

Kabuto smiles sinisterly. “Welcome back, Lord Orochimaru.” Greets Kabuto, the smile remaining.

Lord Orochimaru? Lord? Is this Kabuto guy like a servant or something like that? You think to yourself as you scan him from head to toe. Suddenly, your eyes go wide. Kabuto. His name sounds so familiar— Wait! That's right. Pein and Itachi mentioned his name a lot of times. Kabuto is apparently very dangerous.

You nearly choke on your own saliva as Kabuto's eyes shoot to you, his gaze almost burning into you.

A bit frightened, you take a step back.

Orochimaru places one hand on your shoulder, calming you down just a tad bit. “Now now, Kabuto, don't frighten the poor girl.”

Hearing Orochimaru's words, Kabuto nods. “My apologies, Lord Orochimaru.”

It's only now that you realise that their faces don't hold smiles or grins anymore, instead, they hold something else that you can't quite decipher.

All you know is that they are suddenly very serious.

“Sasuke is in his room, My Lord. He just finished training.” Kabuto says as he pushes his glasses up with his index finger.

Your gaze falls to the floor. Sasuke? Sasuke Uchiha?

“And the girl?” Orochimaru removes his hand from your shoulder, the grin reappearing on his face.

Kabuto chuckles before answering, “She hasn't left her room ever since you left here, My Lord.”

Kabuto looks over at you again. “Lord Orochimaru, I will show [Name] around. You can go check on the two.” As much as you hate the thought being left alone with Kabuto, you have to go through with it.

“I will see you later, dear child.” With that, Orochimaru walks off in a bit of a haste.

“Are you always this quiet?” Kabuto asks as he closes the door.

Hesitating, you shake your head. “I— Um... No...” You hear Kabuto laugh and you look up at him.

“It's very rude to laugh at others.” Watching as he tilts his head, he raises an eyebrow, “Really? I wasn't aware.”

You scoff at his reply and fold your arms. I guess I'll just have to hold up a tough act if I'm going to be staying here.

Kabuto raises both eyebrows, as if he's trying to mock or challenge you in some way.

“Just show me around then take me to my room so I can rest. Please.” You order in a soft but firm voice. Surprisingly, the white-haired male just nods and begins walking down the passage.

You smile to yourself and trail behind Kabuto.

After about thirty minutes, you got a tour of your new 'home', you stretch your arms out and yawn.

“So... Where is my room?” You ask, cutting through the silence.

Kabuto looks over his shoulder, grinning. “You'll be sharing a room with me.” You look at him, disgusted.

“Ew. No way. I would rather die.” You shiver at the thought of bunking with Kabuto.

Before Kabuto can say anything back, Orochimaru's voice rings out.

“Kabuto! Could you bring [Name] over here?”

Kabuto adjusts his glasses, “Yes, Lord Orochimaru.” He waves his hand, signaling for you to follow as he heads to where Orochimaru is.

Moving hair out of your face, you hurry to catch up with Kabuto.

Kabuto stops at a door that's open ajar and he pushes it open a bit wider before walking inside.

You follow behind him and stand next to him.

Orochimaru is seated on the bed, a girl on her knees behind him. At the sight, you scrunch up your face.

“Kabuto, you may leave. You too, Lily.” Orochimaru tries to pry the girl's arms off from around him.

Seeing as she won't budge, Kabuto goes over to pull her off and she just begins to scream and squirm around.

“Let me go!” She tries getting out of Kabuto's grasp but doesn't succeed as she gets pulled out of the room, the door closing behind them.

“She just doesn't give up.” Orochimaru stands up and spreads his arms.

“Come here, little one. I have so much use for you and you will soon be strong.” You walk over to him and you're soon in his arms, in his embrace.

The door opens then closes.

“Orochimaru, is she the girl Kabuto mentioned?”

The voice belongs to Sasuke Uchiha.

This chapter isn't long since it's basically just an introduction to your new life, I guess. I hope it was good nonetheless.

Anyway, I don't have much to say, so... I hope you have a great day/night!

Take care.

Thank you for reading this book, because I never thought people would actually read this, so I really appreciate it.
