After the attack vanished, I came back inside. People glanced at me before whispering.

Why did he have to draw so much attention?

I sat back down in my spot, and Jeongin immediately scooted back over.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

I nodded in response.

"I'm sorry Chenle did that. He tends to hold grudges. But I bet whatever you did in the past, it doesn't matter now because you seem different." Jeongin said, smiling.

He was definitely a cool kid.

"Jeongin-"

"I will be friends with who I want." Jeongin snapped back at Chenle. "I don't care what he was like in the past, he is much nicer now."

I smiled. That was sweet of him.

Later that day, when I had Biology, Hyunjin sat with me. I was grateful for it.

But I was starting to realize that people were sending Hyunjin weird looks. They were judging him for sitting next to me.

I scooted over as unnoticeably as I could. But Hyunjin seemed to notice.

"You okay?" He asked.

"Yeah." I whispered back, continuing to write down my answers on my biology worksheet.

"Oh. Okay."

Lunch finally rolled around and sitting with people was different for me. It was not bad, or I was not uncomfortable or anything. Just different. Something I was not used to.

I met Felix and Minho. They were very nice. Felix had an unusually deep voice. He had a cute face and hearing his voice, it drove me crazy. How could a cute face have such a deep voice?

"Seungmin." Chan called. "Ever been on a plane?"

"No." I shook my head. "I've never been out of this area."

Everyone looked shocked at me.

"My dad won't let my mom take me anywhere. He's scared we'll run off." I whispered the last part. That was a little more personal and Chan was the only one who knew. I had rather kept that to myself and Chan.

"Awe man, that sucks." Hyunjin commented from in front of me. "I've been out of the country."

"I from out of the country." Chan retorted.

"So am I." Felix bragged.

I just listened to their conversations. They were entertaining to listen to but I had rather not talk.

The bell rang and we all stood in unison. I waved goodbye before heading off to my locker.

When I reached my locker, I noticed someone standing near it. This person did not have a locked near me, and I knew that for a fact. I walked towards them and opened my locker. I tried my best to ignore them but they continuously stared at me.

Finally, I turned to them. "Can I help you?" I asked sweetly.

"Are you Seungmin?"

"Yes. I am." I nodded.

The boy huffed before turning away and walking off. What was that all about? I wasn't sure but decided not to think much about it.

I left off to my next class, thinking about why this day was so much different than the past days.

Maybe it was a different color?
