Grasped control over our daily lives
Everything that we own
Is unable to function without its energy
All conversations stop when it is
Out of commission
Our lives revolve around it
We forget one another in its absence
We rarely, if ever appreciate a day
When we are not engulfed by its presence
It manages to plan our days in advance
Days are uneventful without it
