Chapter 1

[3 Months after Season 1]

"Go after her before she escapes!"

I kept running as I had nowhere else to go especially since my father sent me off this manhunt for my older sister.

"Over here!"

I saw a girl in a portal so I ran into it and I was surrounded by strangers. I slowly got up as I felt fear growing inside me which switched on my powers, shaking everything around me.

"Hey, relax....we're here to help," guy said.

"What's your name?" Girl asked.

"Anya, Anya Maximoff," I introduced myself.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Clarice and these are my friends....we protect our kind and make sure they're safe," she introduced herself.

"You'll be OK, I promise," Guy said.

"Thank you," I said.

They gave me a home, a safe place to stay so I head up to the roof where no one was around to make a call.

"There's no sign of her here...are you sure she was with these people?" I asked.

"Yes, I swear to you that she should be there"

"Something must've happen....I'll keep you updated, we need to find out for sure the HellFire Club is making a comeback," I said.

"Why does it matter?"

"Lorna has no idea what those Cuckoo sisters are really up to along with Reeva with this so-called new Inner Circle," I hissed.

"Eric is really pissed that you left without him"

"He'll get over it....anyways, I need to figure out how to connect with Lorna without any problems like those sisters getting in the way," I scoffed.

"Don't worry about them so much"

"Tell Eric that I'll send him the text to help me when the time is right," I said.

"What are you going to do?"

"Get some answers about my family.....also go take care of Magma and Empath who I can hear constantly bickering at each other," I sighed.

I hung up on Julian as I was still looking for Lorna but I didn't expect my worst fear to come true. I also didn't expect to bond with these people so quickly especially my sister's boyfriend/baby daddy, Eclipse.

[Weeks Later]

Marcos and I kept training nonstop as we were preparing to go out and find Lorna. I was able to use my mind manipulation ability to take him down as I put one of my knives near his throat.

"Nice....but there's just one problem," Marcos said

"What's that?"

He was able to blind me and pin me to the floor with a smirk on his face.

"Damn it, I left an opening for you to overpower me," I groaned.

"Exactly, so be careful next time," he said.

He helped me up as we just had a moment, looking into each other's eyes when John came by to give some information on a possible lead to Lorna.

"We should go and see if this is legit," I suggested.

"I'll do that, you stay here with the others," Marcos said.

"Come on, I can help like Lorna did," I argued.

"Anya, it's too risky and I don't want to put you in danger," he said.

"Fine, I'm gonna hit the showers and then hit the hay for today," I said.

I walked away to shower and take a nap for the time being.
