Chapter 43

Blair's POV:

After the awful math class it was finally time to go home. It was so weird without Zach cause I literally had Bryce the whole time next to me and talking to me, like duh back off. I put my headphones in my ears and started to listen to some songs. I walked home from school when suddenly it started pouring outside. In a split second I was wet from head to toes and I still had a whole way to go. A car next to me slowed down, Bryce. Again. Ugh.
,,hey jump in I'm gonna give you a ride'' he said smiling.
,,Umm.. no thanks I can walk it's ok'' I said
,,come on I don't bite and it's pouring outside you're prolly catching a cold'' he said.
To my suprise he was super friendly and didn't try to make a move. Right? Or was I wrong?
Somehow I ended up in his car, he was right. I was already freezing and sneezing. Shit.
,,Um thanks tho.'' I said looking out from the window.
,,you welcome. Wanna stop by at my house?'' he asked me.
,,I think I'd rather go home'' I said.
,,come on am I really that kind of an ass?''
I looked towards him now:,,I mean yea sometimes but I think I'm gonna look after Zach, you know he wasn't feeling good and I should be there for him.''
,,yea yea course. I understand that. Mind if I stop at Monet's and get me a drink?'' He asked me all kind.
,,It's fine you can go.'' I said.
He tried to make a little of small talk and we actually really had a few things in common. Would never expect that. Someone texted him and he was on his phone while pulling over.
,,wanna have something too?'' Bryce asked.
,,I'm good tho thanks'' I said and he left to get a drink.

Blair:
I'm at Monet's gonna be there in 10 mins babe😘

Zach:
What u doin at Monet's?

Waitin 4 Bryce...Don't even ask I'll explain later... love you❤️

Now he's pissed, I could literally tell right away. Bryce got me falling out of my thoughts when e entered the car.
,,hot choclate for the lady'' He said handing me a hot choclate.
,,aww I told you to not get me anything but thanks'' I said smiling.
,,you welcome and there's no way I'm gonna let you catch a cold. You're a cheerleader and saturday is game day you're important.'' We both laughed at this sentence.
,,well thanks then team captain'' I said laughing.
,,you're welcome'' Bryce said placing his hand on my thigh. I looked at him when he tried to move closer. He moved his hand to my inner thigh getting higher and higher. I pushed his body that was coming towards me away.
,,what the hell bryce are you sick? You know I'm dating your FRIEND ZACH!'' I yelled and he backed off.
,,A little fun won't kill him B'' he said smirking.
,,And I thought you were just tryna be nice.'' I tried to open the car door handle but he locked it.
,,open it'' I yelled in panic and he only said he would drive me home. He drove me home and I got outta the car as fast as I could. He drove away and I started to cry leaning against the wall of my house. He just touched me for the second time. I wiped away my tears cause I saw Zach coming out of his house. I turned around and acted as if I haven't seen him and went immediately inside. I waited until he couldn't realize I was crying and then went over.
,,babeee'' I said putting on a fake smile and kissing him.
,,why were you with Bryce'' Zach harshly said.
,,calm down babe nothing happened'' I said.
,,ugh just be careful baby I don't want u to be around him'' Zach said while pulling me into a hug.
,,nothing happened it was pouring outside and he offered me a ride. It's fine babe'' I said.

But really how dumb was I to not tell the truth...
