*Greyson's POV*

'What's this?' Mum asked me.

I looked up and she showed me a picture of me with Eveyn. Woah, photogenic much. 'It's just me and... Eveyn.'

'And who is this Eveyn you speak of?' she questioned, feeling slightly irritated.

'She's.. An amazing girl who.. I'm proud to call her mine.' I replied, feeling a little scared. Why was Mum acting like this?

'Well, when did this first happen?'

'Last night..'

'What do you mean last night?! Don't tell me you..'

'Oh god, Mum, NO! We were friends before that but..'

'But what?'

'Then we were together.. Since last night.'

'What did I say about you going into a relationship?'

Shit. I forgot. She told me I had to concentrate on my music, and not let any girl distract me from my work. Or my life. That's what Gaga told me, too. And so did Ellen. I'm screwed. But Eveyn was different. I really, really liked her. If I didn't claim her now, and just hesitate and let go, a girl like her was just rare to find.

'I'm sorry..' I said softly.

'I don't like this. You'd better clear it all up once and for all.'

'But I love her.'

'Don't you dare use the 'love' word on me. I don't care. You'd better do what I say, Greyson Michael Chance.'

Elevator buttons and morning air

Stranger silence makes me wanna take the stairs

'My mum knows about us.' he sighed.

'That's great, isn't it?' I replied.

'Not exactly.. She.. Hates the idea of me being in a relationship. She wants me to concentrate on my music. I'm not saying that I want a break up, I just needed to tell you this. Whatever happens, whoever tries to stop us, we will never be apart. I love you.'

'I'll never let you go. It's just your mum.. We'll find a way through it. Our love can not be broken.' I said, smiling.

'Hehe, I hope so. Oops I've got to go. Bye! Love you!'

I hung up. Wow. Greyson's mum was against us.. Mom Lisa seemed nice.. Oh well. They can't take what's ours.

Sigh. Last night I was tossing and turning after our phone conversation. We had only just started dating and already problems had started arising. Were we not meant to be?
