Chapter 20

I needed to talk to him. Seeing him walk away as fast as he could, avoiding me, I ran up to him. 'Zack!' He turned around slightly, but turned back around and walked faster. I grabbed his arm. 'We need to talk,' I said, out of breath.

'What's there to talk about? You've got your Greyson. Happy ending, right?' he replied with a tinge of contempt in his voice. I felt grateful that he finally talked to me, irregardless of whether he wanted to or not. 'Wrong. He's not... Mine anymore.' I looked away. He looked shocked. This was it. I had to say it now or lose everything forever.

'I realised that all this while, I actually did like you. I just didn't know. You were always there for me when I needed you. When I was sad, your arms were the ones that I needed comfort from. Only you knew how to make me happy again. You were all I needed. Just one word from you was enough to take me to a high. No one else could make me feel like you do.

I finally woke up to see that you were the one I needed. That you were my everything. It's been hell these few days with you ignoring me. Relationships are just like that. You try and try again until you find the right one. I'd thought Chris was the right one, but he was just a complete jerk.

And then I'd thought that once I got Greyson, I wouldn't ever let him go. I expected that it would be the other way round. But the tables turned. Seems like all that glitters isn't gold, is it? I need to let you know one thing. And that's that I love you. I've found the right one, and it's you.' I finished. Seeing his expression turn into shock, I sighed and turned around.

To my surprise, he didn't just let me go. Zack grabbed my arm, causing me to spin around. Before I knew it, his lips were on mine. And I knew there and then it was right. When he kissed me, it felt so right. It was like we were made for each other.

Maybe things aren't what they seem. Dating your celebrity crush may seem like a dream, but once you're in that dream if you're lucky enough, you're going to be screaming to get out of that nightmare. I did love Greyson, but it was only fan girl love. I'm still an Enchancer, but I don't think he'd be really happy to see me in person at his concert again.

And all I've got to do right now is to treasure the one I truly love- Zack.

A/N: HAHAHAHAHA I CAN BET RIGHT NOW YOU'RE THINKING 'What kind of fanfic is this?!' Well, I decided to do something a little different. Not all stories end up in happy endings, do they? OH YEAH AND I STILL BELIEVE THAT YOU SHOULD CHASE AFTER WHOEVER YOU LOVE WHETHER ITS A CELEBRITY OR NOT. Ok. Thanks for those who actually still read this story til the end.
