I woke up on a comfortable bed with clean sheets. I was surrounded by gold. As I opened my eyes slowly I tried to think of what happened. I couldn't remember much. I sat up on the bed and rubbed my forehead. I looked at myself and realised I was not in my own clothes. Bucky's necklace had gone. The only thing I had left of him. I was in - what looked like - a dress. It was brown and reminded me of the clothes kingdoms wore in superhero movies. It went over my shoulder then around my waist, then the rest fell naturally like a skirt all the way down to my feet. The dress was a brown colour and my black trainers had been replaced by a pair of light brown ankle-boots.
Someone walked in. He was tall and muscular. He looked he was in about his mid-twenties. He wore blue and silver armour with a bright red cape hanging of his back. The cape stopped at the back of his knees where he wore shoes that looked like metal. His hair was a bright blonde and went just over his shoulders. One part of his hair was braided however part of the braid contained a strand of jet black hair. He had deep grey eyes yet his face looked kind and soothing. He carried with him a large hammer.
He smiled at me and slowly sat down on the bed opposite me. I shuffled back cautiously. He placed his hammer on the ground and raised his hands in the air. "I intend you no harm I just want to find out a bit about you." He said in a deep soothing voice. I looked at him and he smiled softly back at me. I sighed and thought of all the questions that flooded my head that I wanted to ask. I started with the simplest. "Where am I?" I asked the man in a whisper. He looked at me and smiled. He tucked a strand of his hair behind his ear then answered my question. "You're in a place called Asgard. You landed in our courtyard yesterday when me and my brother were talking to each other. We immediately brought you here to rest and some of the maids changed your clothes. The ones you were wearing were very different so we had to move them. We still have them if you need anything." I nodded and thought of Bucky's necklace. He smiled at me and then I thought of my next question. "I don't mean to be rude but, who exactly are you?" I said trying to sound as polite as possible. He smiled at me then introduced himself."My name is Thor Odinson, prince of Asgard."
I didn't know what to say. He saw my expression and laughed. I continued asking my questions and getting them answered by Thor. I asked my next question. "How did I get here, to Asgard I mean?" I said rubbing my head. He noticed the bruises and the cuts. "I'm not sure how you got here, I presume through a black hole in space. You did crash land in the courtyard of the palace pretty hard. That's where you are now. You're in a guest room of the palace." I looked around me in the room covered with gold and golden paint.
He started to ask me questions.
"Can you tell me what happened or what you remember of before you got here?"
I looked out of a window and sighed. I told Thor of my world and how I was placed in the care of Ray. I told him about Bucky and how he was my best friend. I told him of how I was only thirteen years old. I told him of how I woke in the night to a smash outside the closet. I told him of the men that took me and Bucky. I told him of Buck's promise to always find me. I told him what happened on the ship. I told him everything. By the time I finished tears were streaming down my cheeks. The only thing I did not tell Thor is about Buck's necklace.
"Thank you for telling me, I know that what happened to you must have been hard. I'm truly sorry about your friend but I'm sure you'll find him again. In this world or another." He smiled at me and I smiled back. It was weird to speak to someone that wasn't trying to hurt me. The last person I spoke too who was that person being Bucky. "Shall we go get your clothes so you can get what you need?" Thor asked with a promising smile. I nodded at him. He picked up his hammer from the side of the bed and stood up.
