Laura's POV
Myself and all the boys walk down the stairs and once we reached the bottom I received a text. I pulled out my phone and it was from my brother Josh.

Texts
Josh: Hey, I'm on my way home, sorry I was gone all day, I had to pick up someone

Laura: since when do you ever explain to me why you go anywhere? I'm confused...

Josh: I have a surprise

Laura: ok..

Josh: But please don't have any friends over when I get there because this person wants to see you and I think it's best that you're alone

Laura: um.. ok?

End of convo

I turned off my phone and put it back in my pocket. I'm so confused..

"Hey guys I'm sorry but for now you have to go cuz my brother is going to be bringing someone here that wants to see me and he thinks it's best that I'm alone." I Said.

"Ok babe, we understand." Jack Said.

All of the boys agreed. Jack embraced me in his arms and gave me a quick goodbye kiss with his soft lips. He pulled away and I can definitely tell that I'm hardcore blushing. Daniel, Jonah, Zach and Corbyn all gave me a hug goodbye. Next thing I know they were all headed out the door. A few moments later they're now all gone and pulling out of the driveway. I just smiled at the thought of Jack calling me babe. I still can't believe that we're finally dating and I get to call, literally the most amazing human in the universe, mine.

I walked over to the couch and I just sat and waited for Josh to arrive with his so called 'surprise'. Just then my phone went off again. Geez why am I so popular today? Just kidding lmao. I pulled out my phone and read the notifications on my lock screen. My heart sank... it was a groupchat dm from my school bullies...... Bryce and Mikey. I took a moment to decide wether or not to open it and read what they wrote or just ignore them. All of me wants to just ignore them but I know that it won't turn out well for me if I do. I opened up the dm, quickly regretting it.

DM

Bryce: Hey whore

Mikey: we weren't there on the last day of school to give you your beating, I think it's time we fix that

Bryce: meet us behind the school tomorrow at 10:00am so we can do what we didn't have the chance to

Mikey: if you're late or you don't show up.. well I don't think you wanna find out what will happen

Bryce: See you soon worthless slut

I don't want to do this.. but if I don't then things will get a lot worse for me and I don't want that. I could just tell the cops but I'm just too scared.. Ughh! Why do bad things always have to happen when something good is finally going for me?! I felt a tear slide down my cheek but I wiped it away, I need to stay strong. And I definitely can't talk to the boys about this because they'll freak and I don't want them getting involved or knowing that I get abused by my bullies. I don't even want them know that I get bullied. Josh doesn't even know and I plan to keep it all that way.

The front door then opened and Josh walked inside.

"Hey Jo-" I started saying but I stopped..

Just then someone else walked in behind Josh and it's someone that I would've never expected.........
