I pulled out my phone and I went into the groupchat with the boys. They had sent me a few messages earlier right after they left.

Jack: are you sure you want to do that right now? It's already a hard week for you

Laura: yes I'm sure. There's something he needs to know and I've been carrying around the guilt of it for almost a year and I want to let that guilt go.

Jack: ok, when should I pick you up?

Laura: you decide

Jack: how about I pick you up at 9?

Laura: meet me outside baby it's a vibe 🙃

Jack: I didn't even realize I quoted one of our songs 😂
