jeongguk and yoongi sat next to each other in art class, both trying to think about what to paint today. their teacher had given them free choice, since it was friday.
"yooyoo, what're you gonna do? i'm think of doin' a flower." yoongi just shrugged, starring at the paper infront of him. jeongguk puffed one of his cheeks. "well, i'm gonna get some paint, i'll be right back." yoongi nodded, looking up, watching as the other boy walked to the other side of the classroom, and back.
the teacher had given him a paper plate with a few splotches of paint. jeongguk dipped his paint brush into the green, starting to paint the stem, along with some leaves. he stopped for a second, and looked over to yoongi. "yooyoo, what's your favorite flower?"
yoongi paused for a second, then pursed his lips out into a small pout. "i don't know the name but.. the one with small white flowers, 'n there's a lot on one stem! i think it's called.. babies burp?" the two boys burst out in a soft laughter, jeongguk mumbling through his giggles, "you said burp!"
after the two calmed down, jeongguk walked over to the teacher, and described what yoongi had said earlier. the teacher then told him the actual name of the flower, and jeongguk thanked them.
"it's called babies breath." jeongguk dipped his paint brush in the white, creating small flowers around the end of the stem. yoongi's eyes widened. "i didn't know babies breathed flowers! that's so cool!"
jeongguk nodded, focussing on his painting.
