it was another school day, and jeongguk hadn't been able to focus in classes at all. his mind had been cluttered with thoughts of the previous day, thinking about what it could mean. jeongguk has never had a crush before, but he's heard what they're like. usually you find the person really cute, and want to do stuff with them. 'i do find yoongi cute but.. who wouldn't?' jeongguk pursed his lips, letting out a huff of frustration.
he didn't know what to do, jeongguk needed advice. but, the only friend he had was yoongi, and he couldn't ask yoongi about what to do with his feelings towards yoongi. the boy looked around the room, his eyes stopping on the boxy smile that was seated a few down from him. jeongguk took a deep breath before scooting down, next to the boy. "taehyung," the said boy looked up, a small frown tugging his lips when he saw who called him. "i know we don't like each other that much, but i need your help."
taehyung sat up straight, crossing his arms. "why should i?" jeongguk rolled his eyes, taking a moment to think. "i'll help you with something," he paused, noticing how taehyung hadn't looked convinced, "and i'll give you all my choco pies for the rest of the year." taehyung's eyes lit up at that, but his gruff expression didn't budge. jeongguk held out his hand, taehyung hesitantly taking it. they shook, and pulled away, both murmuring a "deal".
"okay so, what's up?" taehyung shuffled in his chair, facing jeongguk entirely. jeongguk gulped, knawing at his bottom lip. "pinkie promise not to tell?" taehyung nodded, smiling reassuringly. "'course." jeongguk nodded, letting out a soft sigh. "i think.. i-i like.. yoongi."
taehyung blinked, shrugged, then nodded again, giggling at how jeongguk's cheeks heated up as he confessed. "cool. what's the problem?"
"well, we're- we're like brothers! at least he thinks that! 'n that's a problem, cause liking your brother isn't cool!" jeongguk's huffs out, his bottom lip jutting out into an over exaggerated pout. taehyung hums, looking towards yoongi who was falling asleep at his desk, then returning his gaze to jeongguk. "well, make it obvious! like in the movies, y'know how like, the guy likes the girl but she doesn't know so then he like, buys her flowers n stuff."
jeongguk slowly nodded, a smile creeping his lips. "yeah! i'll do that! thank's tae, you're awesome!" jeongguk leaned forward, hugging taehyung tightly.
