throughout the next week and a half, yoongi would spend recess and elt with taehyung at the library, trying to mend their broken friendship. jeongguk didn't notice at first, believing yoongi's excuses of extra homework and such. but, wednesday rolled around and jeongguk was racing jimin up the steps, and paused when he saw taehyung and yoongi walking out of the library together.

his chest tightened a bit, his gaze stilling on the pair. jimin jogged up behind jeongguk, heaving and bending over, hands resting on his knees. "jesus fuck, do you do track or something?"

jeongguk just stood and starred holes into taehyung's head, and jimin tilted his head. "koo?"

jeongguk slowly averted his gaze from taehyung and yoongi, the two boys turning the corner. he cocked his brows at jimin, humming. "what's up? you were like, glaring daggers at the hallway." jimin chuckled, standing up straight.

jeongguk just shrugged, running down the hallway, jimin shouting behind the boy.

seventh period rolled around, and jeongguk was at his locker, grabbing his binder and pencil. yoongi walked up the hall, standing against the locker next to jeongguk's. he smiled at the taller boy, "hey koo, ready to burn stuff? i heard the grease drips down from the chips and stuff, sounds sick."

jeongguk just kept searching around his locker for his pencil, and yoongi starred up at the boy. "helloooo?" yoongi's smile faltered a bit. jeongguk sighed in delight as he found his pencil, slamming his locker and locking the lock, walking past yoongi.

yoongi scoffed, looking back at jeongguk. "the fuck is his problem?"
