I sat there on the bathroom floor.

15 minutes is a long time when you're nervous.

One morning I was sick, not thinking of it twice.

Thought it could be a bad pizza.

But then it happened again.

And then I missed my period.

Twice.

So, I put two and two together and realised what could be happening.

Was I pregnant?

But I was only 18

Colby and I had only been together for a year.

My brother Jake would be so mad

The timer went off.

I stood up and grabbed the stick.

I chocked on what I saw.

A positive sign.

In clear blue.

Shit.

"Babe?" Colby yelled from outside the bathroom. "You okay?" he asked

"yeah" I chocked

"No, you're not, your crying. Open up" he told me

I walked to the door and looked at Colby dead in the eyes.

"Y/n?" he asked

"I'm so sorry" I cried

"Why?" he asked

"Colby, I'm pregnant" I cried

"Are you sure?" he asked

"Positive" I said "Literally"

I cried even more

"It's going to be okay" he said hugging me

"Colby we are just kids. We can barely look after ourselves" I said

"I know" he said

"What do you want to do?" I asked

"I want to keep this baby, y/n" he told me

"Are you sure?" I asked

"I love you, y/n, I'm not going to leave you okay, enough people have done that to you. I'm not leaving" he told me

"I love you too" I told him

"We need to tell your brother though" Colby said

"You want too, or should I?" I asked

"I think for the safety of myself I'll let you do that" Colby said

"No, I can handle my brother" I said grabbing his hand and going to Jake's room

"We need to talk" I said barging in to his room

"Sure, what's up?" he asked

"Okay, don't get mad." I began

"Please tell me you're not pregnant" Jake said as a joke

"Um" was all I could say

"Are you kidding me?" Jake said standing up

"Calm down" I said

"Are you kidding" he repeated

"Jake" I said

"No, Colby you know I wasn't keen on you dating my sister, but the fact you got her pregnant, she's only 18!!" he yelled

"Look." Colby tried to talk but Jake was having none of it.
