Everything that happened, happened so quick. So fucking quick.

However the moment I realised what happened, its like life itself stopped in time.

People screamed, cried, froze. 

I leaped across the room to save Vee but I didn't save the one I loved

She died, she died because her bastard of an ex boyfriend, pulled a gun out at me, but ended up shooting her.

Y/n died. She was shot, not only killing her but killing my two children.

"Colby!" Kat screamed as I looked up from covering Vee. 

I looked up to see her laying on the floor shot in the chest area.

Cameron running out the door with Elton and Corey chasing after him.

"Sam take Vee now" I said as I didn't want her to see her mother dying.

"Colby..." Sam said 

"TAKE HER!" I yelled losing my temper

"Mummy?" I heard Vee say as Sam carried her outside

"Y/n?" I asked as she was barley awake.

"Colby, take care of her, look after her, please promise me" She told me as I heard sirens in the background

"I promise baby. please just try and hold on for me. Promise me you will try and hold on, for Vee" I told her

"I... I'll try. But Colby, I love you and make sure you tell Vee that I love her more than anything." She told me as the doctors and police came in

"I..." I began 

"Sir, please can I ask you to move back" One of the paramedics told me.

"I promise" I said to her as I let go of her hand 

"Sir?" She asked looking up at the paramedic

"Yes?" he asked as he checked her heart rate

"Please, can you make sure that my daughter stays with him over there, Colby Brock. He has looked after me and my daughter for years and her father, the one who shot me, cannot get custody of her, she cannot go to an orphanage, she needs to stay with Colby" she told him

"Okay, I promise, but I am not going to let you die, okay?" he said 

"You can't save me now, i need to go, im not in pain" She told him, I cried, my eyes couldn't stop watering. 

"Let's get you to the hospital okay?" He said as he tried to move her onto a stretcher

"No, its okay" she said as she closed her eyes.

"Jack?" The other paramedic said 

"She's gone." he said as he took his hand away from her neck.

"Time of death, 8:46" The paramedic said

My whole body froze. I stood there shocked

"Colby?" I heard someone say

But I couldn't move. My eyes wouldn't budge from the sight of my dead fiancé on the floor.

"Colby?" Sam said standing in front of me

"Where is Vee?" I asked

"Out the back with Kat. Mate you need to breath" he told me 

"How the hell am I meant to tell Vee?" I asked

"I don't..." Sam began but was shortly interrupted
