Everything was perfect. The bridesmaids had just finished getting their hair and make up done.
I stayed sat in my seat as the hairdresser finished the final touches on my hair.
Everything was beautiful and in less than an hour I was marrying the man I loved.
"Faith!" My maid of honour Sierra called as she snapped me out of my day dream
"Yes?" I asked
"Are you okay?" she asked me
"Yeah, yeah." I said, it sounds not so convincing now that I have said it out loud.
"You seriously think your best friend of many years doesn't know when you are lying Faith, come on what's up" she asked as she sat in front of me.
"I don't know I think it's just nerves" I said
"Well you look beautiful and Colby is very, very lucky. Now shall we get you into your dress?" she asked
"Yeah, that might make me feel better" I smiled
The bridesmaids were all in baby blue, everything else was white with a contrast colour of orange sunset. My favourite.
"Girls you look amazing" I smiled as my two other best friends twirled for me in their dresses

I followed Sierra into the room with my dress in. She unzipped the bag as I watched the stunning dress unfold.
"Come on then" she smiled as she took it off the hanger and undid the back too, so I could step into it easier. I pulled it over my shoulders and adjusted myself into the dress. I looked at my reflection in the mirror as Sierra did the buttons up at the back.

"Wow" some said from behind me. I turned to see my dad and my mum standing together. My mum was close to tears while my dad stood there shocked.
"Hi" I smiled
"Princess you look... like a princess" my dad said as he gave me a hug
"Thanks dad" I hugged back
"Well, it's time. Do you want me to go and make sure everything is ready?" My mum asked
"Yes please." I said
My dad went with her as I sat down, felling a little faint
"Are you okay?" Sierra asked me
"Yeah, just a little light headed." I said as I held my head
"You're almost as white as your dress Faith" One of my bridesmaids said
"I just need a minute" I said as I stood up before falling straight back to the ground.
Colby's POV
My hands were so clammy. I was so nervous. Oh god.
"Dude." Sam, my best man said
"Yeah?" I asked
"It's going to be fine" he said as he held my shoulder
I gave him a smile as I turned to stand at the top of the wedding aisle.
Suddenly Sierra appeared at the other end of the aisle.
She tilted her head to the side, signalling for me to come over to her.
I ran down the aisle to meet her at the bottom, Sam following me down.
"What's happened?" I panicked
"She passed out, but she had been out for about 3 minutes and I'm beginning to worry, look I know you're not meant to see her before the wedding, but she might wake up with you there" She suggested
"Where is she?" I asked
"Follow me" she said as we walked up to the room, she was in. when I walked in, and saw her mum and dad in the corner of the room with the bridesmaids fanning Faith and making sure she was comfortable.
"Baby?" I asked as I walked over to her. I moved the hair out of her face seeing that she was pale.
"She has more colour now then she did a few moments ago" Sierra told me
"Okay" Sam said behind me
"What?" I asked
"I think we need to call the paramedics, just to make sure she is okay" Sam suggested
"Okay, Sierra?" I asked
"On it." She said as she got her phone out.
"I'll go and tell everyone downstairs that there will be a delay and to help themselves to drinks" he told me
"Come on Faith, wake up" I said as I held her close to me.
I looked at her dress, it was beautiful, and she looked amazing in it, even if she was passed out. She was mine. And I was more than excited to marry her.
"They are on their way" Sierra told me
"Ugh my head." She said
"Oh my god, are you okay?" I asked her as I slowly helped her sit up.
"Yeah. What happened?" she asked.
"You passed out and we couldn't wake you up" Sierra said.
"I'm fine, think it was just nerves." She laughed "Wait, you need to get out it's bad luck to see the bride before the wedding" she yelled as she laughed and shooed me out the door.
"Fine, I'll be downstairs waiting my love" I said as I left with Sam.
We bumped into the paramedics on the way down, but I knew she was going to be okay.
"Ladies and gentlemen, Faith is okay and if you don't mind taking your seats as the ceremony will begin very soon." Sam smiled as everyone made there was back to their seats.
I stood at the top of the altar waiting for the music to start.
It felt like a waiting game of hours upon hours.
But then the moment came.
The music started at their she was.
Dressed in white. Her dress made her look like an angel, her hair long and beautiful. I knew she was growing it out for the wedding, she's cutting it all off after this though as she keeps telling me.
Her smile made me smile.
She took her father's hand as she walked down to meet me.
Her father gave me her hand, giving me the most important gift of them all.
His blessing and his daughter.
The ceremony to me went so fast. Before I knew it, we were both saying "I do" with rings placed on our fingers and we were already making our way to our after party.
Everything was great and how I thought it would turn out to be. I was with the love of my life and I was happy. Finally.
