You sat there with your now ex boyfriend, ready to press the recording button.
It was calm with you both, it had to be done.
Colby pressed record before sitting down next to you.
You took a deep breath looking at your hands.
"So, by the title of the video you will know that this isn't a normal happy video and no this is not clickbait" Colby made clear.
"Y/n and I have decided due to circumstances that it was time to part, and we wanted to address everything before people begin to speculate and make up bullshit that isn't true" Colby began as you looked over to him
"A lot of people think that I had been cheating on Colby because of an image the was going around on twitter" You began "I was a photo of me at dinner with another man and I was smiling and looking happy, apparently that means im cheating but whatever" You rolled your eyes, trying not to break down crying.
"I was at dinner with another man, but it was strictly business and I had just been offered a job" You put clearly.
"That job being in England" Colby finished as he grabbed your hand, you looked at your hands and then at him
"We have decided because of this opportunity, y/n cannot turn down this job. But I cannot move with her" Colby began to tear up. "I want to but my job is here, and her new job is there and it's going to be really tough to keep it long distance" Colby finished looking between you and his lap.
"The break up is not something we want, its something we have to do because there will be so much struggle, seeing each other, the time difference, the long nights ill be having and Colby having to film and edit and sleep. It's just too tough" You smiled sadly, nodding at the camera and the tears finally fell.
"This doesn't mean we don't love each other and that we will never have a chance again, but for noe, are paths are on completely different sides of the world and its just not our time" Colby bought you closer to his body. You hugged into his side finally letting everything out.
"I leave next Tuesday and until then I will no longer posting or be active on any media as Im not just leaving Colby in leaving my friends and family behind. I would really appreciate the pacients" You whipped away the tears that had fallen
"We love you guys and hope you understand, so for now, peace" Colby covered the camera with his hand before turning it off.
You finically broke down as you held your head in your hands.
Colby engulfed you in his arms and you both sat there crying.
Hours had passed at this point you both hadn't moved but the tears had stopped falling.
"I love you" Colby whispered
"I love you too"
JUST A LITTLE ONE FOR THE TIME BEING, WORKING ON SO MANY OTHER THINGS AT THE MOMENT STRUGGLING TO KEEP UP WITH MYSELF AHA
