😘Amabel's P.O.V😘

"Don't you have anywhere to be other than here?" Archer had spent the entire evening here, saying that he had all day.

"Nope. I'm stuck wherever Nico goes, so you're pretty much doomed cause he's not leaving for a while," he pointed out. Nico had spent most of his time around Jake, doing baby noises and things that usually a woman would have to do. Oh and Ezekiel joined in on whatever it was that Nico was doing.

"Well, just my luck."

"Don't you have anywhere to be?" He asked me. I shook my head. "Unless I want to go see the pigs get slaughtered, then nope nothing at all."

He had his mouth open.

"You have to kill pigs?" He sounded like a kid, disappointed to lose his family pet. "How else do you think we get paid? We're not you guys who just order something and it's done in the snap of a finger. By the way, we don't want to kill animals, especially me. I love them, yet I have to hunt and kill them for food. Both for you royals and us commoners."

"Which is why I prefer to go fishing," I added. "Really? You don't strike me as the fishing type," Archer commented.

"What type do I strike you as then?"

"The norm."

"The norm?"

"Yeah, you know, the girl who'll be the stay at home mom when she gets kids." I felt my face turn red with anger or embarrassment. I'm not quite sure. "But, I've met you long enough to know that you'll be the mysterious knight who never shares his identity and just battles on the battlefield."

I laughed.

"The mysterious knight? Ha, you're hilarious."

"Am I not right or am I saying something wrong again?" I shook my head. "No, you're right, it's just that I wouldn't hide myself."

"What do you mean?"

"I wouldn't hide that I'm a woman. I would love to see the shock on their faces, seeing a girl fight better than they can."

He smirked. "You think of yourself that highly? Geesh, calm down woman."

I smacked him on the head with the book in my hand. "Wouldn't you agree?" He shook his head in agreement. "After spending time with you? Yes, I would."

"Hey Amabel, we need you down at the Central to help to put up some stuff, if that's possible," said Nico finally coming out of the room where the baby was, along with Ezekiel. "Sure I'm up for it."

"Great then, let's get moving."

We all walked downtown to the Central and asked what we needed to do. In the end of everything, Nico and Ezekiel where sent to go put up some decorations with the girls *rolls eyes* and Archer and I were sent to go do the heavy lifting.

"Sweetie you can just put that there," said the librarian, Ms. June. She was a widow and changed back to her maiden name. "Ms. June I don't really think you should be carrying these.

I took away the boxes of books she had in her hand. We had already done some work outside and decided to help out inside.

"Thank you my sweet Belle, you have always been a good child."

"It's no problem really, I have no hesitance in helping out, especially here," I said motioning around me.

"Now, you go rest up, we'll finish all this up for you." She shook her head. "Are you sure?" "I'm sure, you go right up ahead to bed now." She left up the stairs and up to her room, being in a health condition was the worst time to be doing work.

"That was very nice of you."

I almost forgot about him.

"She's like my own Nana, why wouldn't I do it? Plus she's the librarian with a library! I can check out books and read. Ms. June was the one who introduced me to all the series I've read."

"I'm not calling you out here or anything but why be so helpful? I've never someone that helpful since King Arthur."

"It comes naturally," I said shrugging my shoulders," I always end up someone helping someone."

"Now," I said," Get to work because there's a whole lot of work to be done!"

"Wow, so enthusiastic," he mumbled under his breath sarcastically. "What was that?!?" He waved his hands. "Nothing! I said nothing!"

"What'd you say! I'll ask you once more."

"Nothing!"

"You said something, now what'd you say?"

"Nothing!"

We chased each other around the entire library, even though we still picked up books here and there, to pack into the wooden handmade boxes. The day turned out great and ended with Nico coming to take us to eat. Boy, what a day.

My god, I'm so sorry. I haven't done a chapter in sooooo long, but good news. I'm currently homework free and have time to write a few chapters. Between going to Student Council events, play rehearsals, studying my All a Region music, and watching Anime, I just can't take it anymore.
Send help for my soul!😖
