Chapter Four

"Wake up Carter." my mum yells into my room. I didn't fall asleep until 2 or 3 last night and it like 6 am.

Lovely.

I groan and sit up in my bed. I quickly hook my phone up to the speakers and play the new song by Marianas Trench I bought yesterday, Pop 101. I love this song a lot.

I get up and decide to wear a pair of ripped black skinny jeans, a black crop top, and a flannel around my waist. Along with my black vans. I like black.

I pull on a few bracelets I got from my sister before she moved out a year ago and walk I to my bathroom. I decide to leave my soft waves down and I put on some eyeliner and mascara, and little bit if tinted moisturizer and some blush. I quickly brush my teeth and throw a piece of minty gum in my mouth before heading downstairs.

"Here are the keys to your new car." My mum says and I smile a she hands me my keys.

"Thank you mum." I say and go to kiss he cheek but she walks over to the fridge to avoid it.

Best mum of the year everyone.

She gives me a bottle of water and a lunch and I wave as Chase and I walk out the door.

"So you excited?" I ask Chase as he walks to his new pick up truck.

"Sure. I just hope there are some hot girls." he says and I widen my eyes as I walk over to my new white volks wagon bug that is a convertible like yes.

"Bye now." I say to him before I hop into my car and drive off to my new school with my book bag in the passenger seat. I was just a red messenger bag with a few buttons from Hot Topic on it and my sister had actually written on it, saying 'if they say that love is forever, your forever is all that I need <3 Jacey'. I miss my sister so much. She moved to the states to peruse her job as a songwriter. So all my siblings and i can sing. We get it from my dad. I miss him too.

I pull into the parking lot of my new school.

"Here goes nothing." I say to myself and hop out of the car with my bag on my shoulder. I feel everyone's eyes on me and I hate it. I feel like they are judging me. I quickly walk up the steps and into the office.

"Uh hi, my name is Carter Reed, i'm a new student here." I say to the lady whine the desk.

"Oh hello dear! Welcome! I'll print up your schedule and I call up Annie to show you around." The lady says with a warm smile and i smile back.

"Um who's Annie?" I ask politely.

"Oh she's a part of student council, she's very kind don't worry." She says and I smile as she prints out my schedule and makes a phone call.

"Well here is this, Annie should be here any second." se says and right then, a tall brunette walks in with a smile on her face, showing of her perfect teeth. she's literally gorgeous and makes me feel super insecure.

"Hi are you Carter?" she asks as she approaches me.

"Why yes I am, and you're Annie?" I ask and she nods with a smile.

"It's very nice to meet you! I'm your new friend and I'll introduce you to my friends too, and I'll show you to your first class when it's time."she says sweetly and I smile.

"Thank you." I say and she waves it off.

"Oh of course! Now let's go." e says and links her arm with mine. Chase walks in and sees me and smiles.

"Have fun Carter." he says an is tick my tongue out at him as he walks up to the desk.

"You know him?" Annie asks as we walk out into the hallway.
