I walk through my front door, hoping my mom won't get mad at me. It's at least 9 pm and knowing my mother, she'll scream at me.
"Where have you been all fucking night?" I hear my mother and I turn around slowly to see her at the top of the stairs in her pjs.
"Hi mum. Uh I was at my new friend's house." I answer truthfully.
"Don't lie." she says.
"I swear. I was at her house ever since school got out." I say and slowly walk up the stairs.
"Who was there?" she asks.
"Uh her name was Annie, and then my other friends Zoe, Luke, Calum, Michael, and Ashton were there." I say.
"So it was mostly boys?" my mum asks as I sigh.
"Yes mother." I say.
"Don't 'mother' me. You were hanging out with boys all day?" she asks, raising her voice.
"Yup and we all smoked weed then I lost my virginity." I say and stomp all the way to my room. I slam my door shut. My mum just flings it open.
"Please tell me you're lying to me Carter." she yells at me.
"Mum, I'm still a virgin and I have never done drugs in my life." I say. Well that's a partial lie. I've done drugs before....
"Thank god. But you aren't getting away with being gone all say and not even calling me. Give me your laptop." she says and I widen my eyes.
"Um I told Chase." I say and he rolls her eyes.
"Oh well you didn't tell me now give me your fucking laptop." she says and I huff and give my laptop to her. Good thing I have a password.
"Goodnight Carter." she says and slams my door shut. I sigh and quickly change into some sweatpants and a sports bra.
I decide to text people.
