Chapter Fifteen

I wake up once again to Ashton.

"Ugh." I say and sit up and stare at a smiling Ashton. I glare at him and he giggles.

"Get up." he says and i graon and pull my hair into a messy bun as I fling my legs over the side of the bed.

"I'm up." I say and just sit there.

"We have to go to school." Ashton laughs and I roll my eyes.

"Okay. Fine." I say and grab my phone and see 15 texts from Zoe all asking where I was yesterday. I ignore them adn Ashton pulls me up.

"Get dressed and let's go, we don't wanna be late now do we?" he asks as he holds my waist.

"Okay." I say and pry his hands off me and shove him out of my room. I close the door and quickly get dressed in ripped high waisted shorts, and a TRXYE crop top. I take my hair out of the bun and bush my waves out. I pull on my all black converse and my glasses. Yeah I do actually wear glasses, but I don't need a very strong perscription so I can manage without them. They are the nerd style because i liked those ones. I walk out to the bathroom and put on some mascara and be done. I walk out to the kitchen to see Ashton and Lauren eating some cereal.

"I like your shirt." Lauren says with a smile.

"Thank you." I say with a smile as I get some cereal for myself.

"You look cute today." Ashton says with a smile. I smile at him quickly.

"Thanks." I say and blush a little as I pour some milk into my bowl and sit beside him at the table.

"We have a test today." Lauren says and groans.

"In what?" I ask and take a bite of my cheerios.

"Art." she states.

"You have tests in art?" I ask.

"Yeah, and they are actually difficult." she say.

"That's lame." I say.

"I know right?" she asks adn I smile.

"Well we better go, mom's taking you guys right?" Ashton asks Lauren.

"Yup, but you're gonna pick me up right? Then we'll go do something later?" Lauren asks and I look at Ashton.

"Yeah. Have a good day." He says and takes my bowl. I stand up.

"Good luck on that test." I say and smile as I wave and grab my bag. I walk to the door and Ashton follows me.

"Let's go." he says and we walk out to his car.

We quickly walk up to the doors and run through them. We may be a little late because we stopped at starbucks then we got stuck in traffic.

"Damnit it's already like 30 minutes into first period." Ashton laughs as we part ways and I run into my class.

"How lovely of you to join us." the teacher says rudely and I smile and go sit down.

"Damn where were you?" Zoe asks as she walks up to me.Lunch time: the one time where teenagers can talk freely about sex and drugs and not get in trouble.

"What?" I ask as I hum the tune to Feel by Sleeping With Sirens.

"Yesterday, did you ditch with Ashton?" she asks adn i laugh.

"Something like that." I say.

"Oh my god what did you do?" she asks as I put some of my books into my locker.

"We just stayed home and watched netflix all day." I laugh.

"Okay." she says and I laugh and look at her.

"What do you mean 'okay'?" I ask.

"I believe you." she says with a smile and I laugh and we walk to the field.

"Hello." I say and sit next to Ashton and Luke.

"Hey." Ashton says and kisses my temple.

"What." Michael says and points at us.

"What?" I ask.

"Couple?" Luke wiggles his eyebrows and I laugh at him.

"Sorta." Ashton says and they just drop it.

I get a text from my brother.

Chase:

Where are you?

Me:

Football feild

Chase:

Okay

"Guys I think my brother wants to talk to me." I say and quickly stand up.

"Have fun." Zoe says and I flip her off.

"This is no fun." I say and wink an smile at her before walking off. I quickly fun Chase and walk up to him.

"Hey." I say.

"How come you haven't been home? I miss you." He says and I look down.

"Just some stuff with Mum. I'm alright." I say and Chase raises his eyebrows.

"Are you really?" He asks and I nod.

"I'm okay." I say.

"Where are you staying?" he asks.

"Ashton's house." I say.

"Fucking hell." Chase mutters and I furrow my eyebrows together.

"Excuse me?" I ask.

"He just wants to fuck you Carter." he says and I give him a confused face.

"And you know this because?" I ask.

"All the guys here tell me they just want to fuck you. They don't know you're y sister since we are so different. Don't fuck Ashton." he says.

"What if I already have?" I ask.

"What?" Chase asks.

"Ashton cares about me. A lot." I say calmly.

"Whatever Carter. Just be careful." Chase says.

"We aren't even dating." I say as cross my arms over my chest.

"I know just... be careful." he says an I nod.

"I will, I promise." I say and he quickly pulls me into a hug before kissing my head.

"Okay I'll call you later." he says and I give him a small smile.

"Okay. Bye." I say and he waves. I slowly make my way back to my friends. I decide to sit in Zoe's lap and she wraps her arms around me.

"Cutest couple in school guys." Calum says from beside us. Zoe kisses my cheek and I scrunch my nose up. I quickly push my glasses up and look at the boys in their own conversations.

I wish I could just be okay. Like them.

But I know I never will be.

And that pains me.

Yeah so I was talking to Evie and I though she said she was in the city I live in (SHE LIVES IN ANOTHER STATE NOW D:) and I like flipped but she's not D:

Guys I was being so weird and went around and hugged my best friend (a boy might I add) and our other friend was like "WHATS GOING ON HERE? WHAT DID I MISS? WAIT ARE YOU GUYS DATING?" and I'm like bitch what. And he was like was like "um no" because he has a girlfriend and then it was awkward the rest of my lunch period
