Chapter Eighteen

I stare at myself in the mirror.

Yeah I'm still at Ashton's and I don't plan on going back to my house anytime soon.

I tilt my head to the side slightly and a smile forms onto my lips. A very small smile, but still a smile.

I hear a knock on the door and open it to reveal an Ashton looking down at the ground.

"Yes?" I ask and his head shoots up and a smile quickly makes its way to his face.

"You've been in here a while, just making sure you're alright." he says and places his hands on my waist.

"I also have a question for you." he says quietly and I look up at him.

"What might that question be?" I ask with a smile.

"Um..." he starts and looks down. He looks back up and pulls me closer.

"Will you be my girlfriend? Like officially?" he asks and I grin then stop grinning.

"I guess so." I shrug and he lokks at my disbelievingly. "I'm joking! Of course I'll be your girlfriend Ash." I say and he grins and slowly puts his lips on mine in a sweet kiss.

"ASHTON! CARTER! DINNER'S READY!" Anne calls from downstairs. I giggle as Ashton rolls his eyes.

"let's go." I giggle and we walk downstairs,

"Good morning kitten." Ashton says as I walk into his room.

"Well good morning, do you have a beanie I can wear?" I ask. I wanted one to go with my ivory sweater and leggings with my black vans.

"Yeah here." he says and hands me a maroon coloured beanie. I smile and give him a quick kiss as I throw it on over my wavy blonde hair.

"Ugh, why does school exist? I don't get it!" I complain as I fall into Ashton's arms.

"I don't know, but we're gonna be late." he says and I quickly stand up straight and grab ashton's hand. We run downstairs and grab our bags. We both give Anne a kiss on the cheek simoltaneously, each of us on both sides of her.

"Bye mom!" Ash yells.

"Bye Anne!'' I call out and follow Ashton out the door, a giggle as camping my lips. Ashton stops and turns around with a smile on his face. He quickly puts his hands on my wait and I place mine on his forearms. He leans down quickly and kisses me, smiling into the kiss. I smile back as he let's go of my waist and grabs my hand. We run down to his car and hop in and drive to school while singing along to Paramore.

"ASH HAS GOT A GIRLYFRIEND!" Luke screams as he walks up behind us.

"Yeah something like that." Ashton says as he snakes his arm around my waist and pulls me closer as we walk to my locker.

"Ew gross couples." Zoe says and I chuckle at her as she smiles and nudges my shoulder with her own. Calum comes up and slings an arm around Zoe's shoulders and smiles down at her. Michael finds us along the way and walks with us. It was a perfect picture. Our group if friends, walking down the hall. All of us with smiles on our faces.

And it had to be ruined of course.

The bitch on campus.

"Carter! You've been here for what 2 and a half months and you've already got 4 boys following you? What a slut!" she says in her high pitched annoying voice. We all stop and Ashton walks up to her.

"You wanna call my girlfriend a slut?" he asks calmly.

"Yup." she says and does that fucking annoying giggle.

"The only slut here is you. Fucking 3 boys in a week? I'm surprised you don't have herpes." he says and waves and walks back over. We quickly walk away to a shocked looking Jessica. Once we are out of war shot all the boys erupt into a fit of cheers.

"Yes Ash tell them bitches!"

"Go Ashton damn boy!"

"Someone finally told her!"

Zoe and I just stand there, Zoe's arm around my shoulders.

"I love them so much." she says and u nod.

"Me too." I say.

And I realize and I'm watching Ashton be all excited with his best friends.

I'm madly in love with Ashton.

Ugh had the worst day today. My best friend and I are fighting bc he said I overreact to everything and that I new to not let what people say get to me and that I need to have a higher self esteem.

Like I can't always control all of that stuff sorry
