Luke.

Christmas morning.

I stirred around in my sleeping position, rubbing my eye to get rid of the sleep stuck in its corners. I tried to move into a more comfortable position when I felt my right arm sting with small numbness because October had used it at as pillow when she and Michael stayed over last night. Seeing that I woke up first out of both of us, I shifted in my spot to get a good look at her.

She had seriously unpleasant morning hair; going in every direction and most on her face, and I was thankful that I had shorter hair so I wouldn't have to deal with all that every morning. Her mouth fell slightly ajar, and I noticed she drooled a little on my clothes, making me chuckle, I didn't find it gross really, just really cute. She let out soft, steady breaths, and I was grateful that she wasn't much of a snorer. I had no idea why she could look so messy in the morning yet so beautiful at the same time. Or maybe it was just her in general.

I then eye her down to what she was wearing - a loose, red onesie. Ashton had suggested for all of us to have matching sleepwear when we woke up on Christmas morning - oh, shit. That was today, wasn't it? I was too caught up in October next to me that I hadn't even noticed.

"October," I mumbled, pushing her hair out of her face and tucking it behind her ear, tapping her chin so her mouth would close. She groaned, and pushed me away by putting her hand on my face, then turning on her opposite side while pulling the blanket over her head.

"Baby, wake up. It's Christmas." I put my hand on her waist and shook her gently, towering over her side where I could see a sleepy grin among her features.

She turned on her back, smiling sleepily with her eyes closed. "You called me baby. I like the sound of that." Her soft, delicate voice beamed as she finally fluttered her eyes opened.

I lean down and kiss her forehead, letting my lips linger for a while before getting off the bed and grabbing her hands, pulling her up with me and throwing her over my shoulder, ignoring her protests. She stopped after a short while, probably because she would've been too tired to get up, anyway.

"Wake up, wake up! It's Christmas!" I hollered, banging on the other boys' doors, with October still hanging on to me tightly. I placed her down in the living room and waited for the boys to come out of their hibernation, expecting them to be half zombies but was surprised when Ashton jumped out of his door, skipping to where October and I were and Calum and Michael followed after, giggling like little children.

"D'aww look at that, the whole team's here!" Ashton exclaimed, engrossing everyone in a group hug. "Merry Christmas you motherfuckers!"

"C'mon! Let's get to the presents! Then we can all spend the day drinking in this apartment even though two out of five of us are underage!" Michael squealed, heading to the little tree perched up in the corner next to the couch.

We make our way over to the little fake tree and reached for the presents with our names on it.

I opened Ashton's present first, then Cal's and Michael's, getting up after to thank them for the lovely presents they bought.

I saved October's present last, having there be three of them - one rectangular shaped, another more square and thin, and the last larger than the rest.

She had gotten me a small, modern record player, along with a few vinyls of my favourite music. Overjoyed, I put them to the side, and walked over to her - who was chewing on her nail, and enveloped her in one of my signature hugs that were only made for her.

"I know it's not much, but I had to buy it at a late time and-"

"Not much? Baby, I love it. Thank you so much, I still can't believe you bought all that for me. You didn't have to. N-not that I don't like it, cause I do. Like, a lot." I moved her closer, before pulling away to give her a long, kiss on the lips, making her giggle and pull away with rosy cheeks.
