October.
After a quite eventful trip, we finally made it to Luke's apartment. We skipped up the stairs still in a fit of giggles as he opened the door with his keys. He motioned me in and I thanked him, taking in the area. It was oddly messy, and yes, I knew boys were particularly messy when it came to their own places, but I'm pretty sure one boy wouldn't make this much mess.
"You never told me you had room mates," I exclaimed, taking off my shoes and walking further deep into his apartment. He scratched the back of his neck and I smiled softly at him to show it wasn't that big of a deal. "Well it never came up, 'm sorry."
"It's alright, I'd love to meet them," I waved him off. I wonder if they were Australian as well. "When did you meet them?"
"About two years ago, I think? I was checking out music in the shop a few streets from here, heard them arguing which band was better and I had to interfere." He laughed, and I joined him.
"Oi, Luke, 's that you, mate?" A voice hollered throughout the small apartment and was indeed a fellow Australian, based on the accent.
"Um, yeah, it's me." Luke called. I heard pairs of footsteps echo through the halls, and out the corner came in two boys, one with brunette curls held back by a red bandanna, the other one with dark hair and I must say, remarkable cheekbones. "Hey, I'm Calum," the Australian introduced, and then pointed to his friend. "This is Ashton." They extended their hands towards me and I shook them politely.
"You can just call me Ash if you want, babe." Ashton winked before letting go of my hand, his fingers lingering against mine for a few seconds. This one wasn't Australian, but American, probably born here, in New York. I blushed, but not because of Ashton and his quite forward introduction, but because it didn't matter who you were, or if I had just met you or known you for years, if you compliment me in any way or make a sweet gesture, I'll blush either way. But when it came to Luke it was completely different, because of my unspoken feelings for him, that will probably break free soon if he kept acting so damn irresistible and hot and adorable and - I'm rambling, aren't I?
I had no idea where our relationship stood at this point. Are we together? I don't know (though I hope it's a yes), but I dread the moment when it was mandatory to bring it up.
I smiled uncomfortably shortly after and pulled my hand away, holding onto Luke's whose face held a grave look, with a hint of disappointment; like he was a pouty five year old who got his toy taken away from him, until I had held onto his hand, and the playful, content Luke - my favorite - was back, a cheeky grin on his face as he looked down at me.
I turned back to the boys, Ash looking a bit pale while glaring at Luke and he coughed awkwardly, having a silent conversation with Luke using their eyes and Luke's complexion softened. Calum looked just as confused as I did, so I spoke up to break the awkward silence. "I'm October, and I really want to watch some Disney movies right now." They all shared a laugh and I joined.
"I like this one," Calum chimed, pointing his finger towards me and I giggled, making my way over to their couch with Luke and they followed.

We were all sitting on the couch watching Lilo and Stitch, our third Disney movie of the day, which Calum had suggested after spending fifteen minutes arguing with Luke and Ashton, trying to pick the best Disney movie because they had too many. They didn't show it directly, but as I watched them in amusement I knew that those two boys meant so much to Luke, and I adored that.
Ashton had fallen asleep first and then Calum, both sitting on the bigger couch while Luke and I were sitting rather close on the love seat, and I could feel the heat radiate off of him.
