"Your Majesty." A voice echoed softly throughout the throne room. Three figures entered the room, two of them carrying a stretcher with something on it. It was covered with a white cloth.
The figure sitting on the throne snapped their head up, zoning back in to the present.
"We're back. We found something, er, well, someone."
"Ah, yes, Timber. I'm sorry, I zoned out a little bit after you left."
"No need to apologize, Your Majesty." Timber replied as he padded up to bow.
"Show me what you found." The figure on the throne said, leaning forward with a small look of desperation on their face.
"Are you sure? Her Majesty might not, erm, take it lightly." One of the two figures holding the stretcher whispered to Timber.
"Just show Her. You heard what She said; take the cloth off." Timber said sternly.
"Erm, alright..." The dragon who had spoke gently set down the stretcher with the other dragon, and whisked the white cloth off of what was on the stretcher.
Her Majesty leaned forward so far She almost fell off of Her throne. She gasped, looking at the colors that pulsed about on the figure's scales.
Green and magenta.
As soon as She saw those two colors dance along the sleeping figure's scales, She immediately knew who it was.
And her motherly instinct kicked in.
