About half an hour later Allison finished making all of the pancakes for the three of them. She couldn't find the red pancake batter, so she could only make green ones.

She turned off the stove, and put the batter and vegetable oil away. She moved the pan to another side of the oven that wasn't hot, and put the spatula down on a paper towel.

"I'm surprised these didn't get burned," she said, motioning towards the paper towels.

"They did." Hero said. "That's a new roll."

"Oh."

Allison grabbed three plates and put an equal amount of pancakes on each one. She put a fork on each plate and handed Hero and Splinter their plates before getting the syrup, as well her own plate. She sat down next to them, and they started eating.

"Wow, this is good." Splinter said through a mouthful of green pancakes. He continued shoving them into his mouth without bothering to cut them up.

Unsurprisingly, Splinter was done first.

Hero and Allison ate their food more slowly. Hero chewed up what he had in his mouth before speaking. "Yeah, Allison, I didn't know you could cook this good. Who taught you?"

Allison shrugged, chewing up her pancakes while pouring syrup on her other ones. She swallowed, and said, "I don't know."

In a private thought, Hero said to himself, oh yeah I forgot, the cliff. Her memory loss. The spell. Eve. He shook off the thought and put on a fake smile to hide his real emotion.

When they finished, Allison took the plates and forks and put them in the sink. She put the plug into the drain and started filling up the sink with warm water and poured a little bit of dish soap into the water.

"What's next on the schedule?" Allison asked.

"Well, I still need to make brownies for the party your mom planned. She also said to bring decorations, tablecloths, etcetera."

"Should I get started on that or..."

"I'll take-"

"I will throw another oar at you if you say that again."

"Haha I won't. How about you start on the brownies, and I'll get the things Mom wants."

"Okay."

Hero left, while Splinter stayed in the room. "Is there any way I can help?"

"Well, I'm using the gas stove, so if you're comfortable with using the electric one you can help me make brownies if you would like to."

Splinter walked over to the electric stove, and squinted at it. "Wait... how do you turn this thing on?"

"Press 'oven', and enter in 350 degrees."

"Oh."

Allison was quick to make the brownie mixture. In about 10-15 minutes she finished mixing it up, and she was starting to pour it into two pans.

When she finished pouring, she motioned to the pan on her left. "Take that one and put it in your oven."

Splinter took it with both hands and he carefully opened the oven. Blazing heat met his face but he didn't mind it, as he put in the pan of raw brownies.
