'You know I really did try, Itachi. I did all that I could to stop him. Well maybe not all, but I did try! But, I'm sorry to tell you, he left. Sasuke left with that sadistic snake eyed  psychopath.'

The breeze was soft through the leaves above me and the sun shown down in little dots on my face.  After two years I was finally returning to the Hidden Leaf Village. The only problem was, I was returning without the Uchiha I left with. As I walked along the path I recalled Sasuke and I's parting.

------

I was awoken from a deep sleep in the dead of night by a crash. I leaped from my sleeping bag and out of the tent to investigate. Outside I saw a rather sucky sight. Orochimaru's fangs sunk deep into the neck of my student, leaving a Heaven curse mark (aka the Hicky Of Death) right between his neck and shoulder.

"Sasuke!" They both turned to me.

Orochimaru smirked and Sasuke looked me dead in the eye. His expression was calm but his eyes were filled with hate. Orochimaru said something in Sasuke's ear and he ran at me at full speed. I dodged his assault.

"Sasuke, what are you doing?!" I yelled at him as he ran again trying to land a hit with his sword on me. He had the full intent to at least severely injure me.

Orochimaru called to Sasuke to stop. He then walked over by Sasuke's side and started to speak in a sinister voice.

"Sasuke has chosen to come with me, and he shall be my student."

"What?! Is he telling the truth, Sasuke?"

I turned to Sasuke with a confused and angry expression.

"Yes. I have found that he can give me the power I seek and sooner." I was shocked by his response, but at the same time, I knew I saw this coming.

I took a step back and sighed.

"You know what...fine. Go with him only to find out his true intentions with you."

They were taken back by my response. But then Orochimaru just smiled.

"Oh, how wonderful. Finally being a good girl, Aman. Let us depart, my new pupil."

Sasuke and Orochimaru turned to leave until I spoke up.

"Sasuke! Before you go let me make one thing very clear to you." I took a few steps forward until I was face to face with the Uchiha. "I do not care who you are, or who you were to anyone, not Naruto, not Sakura, not even Itachi. If you pose any sort of threat to the Leaf Village or any of its people, I will not hesitate...I will kill you. That is a promise. And I never go back on my promises."

A flash of fear rose in the boy's dark eyes, while mine had a dark glowing hue in them. I stood back and they turned again to leave.

"Oh yeah, and one more thing!" I yelled at the Uchiha. He turned once more. "Get a hair cut, Duckbutt."

He just rolled his eyes as he and Orochimaru disappeared into the darkness of the night.

----

I was so deep in my thoughts that I didn't notice the familiar red gate in the near distance. It had a sort of glow to it. As if it were welcoming me home. I finally made it to the gate as I saw a familiar pair of slaking guards. I stopped right in front of the two. I snickered a little to myself as a thought of what I was going to do.

I took a few small firecrackers from my bag and laid them out in front of the two sleeping men. I lit the fuse and waited in amusement. The firecrackers went off and made loud, but not too loud, popping noises. The two guards screamed and jumped up in alert fear as they thought they were being attacked.
