'It's nice to know that there are people like her in this world.'
Tenya thought to himself, unaware of the fact that he was grinning ever so widely.

While he continued to walk down the hall, you on the other hand, were screaming internally.

'I can't believe I just did that! I interacted with another human being, and I was the one who started the conversation! And he accepted my poorly phrased apology!'

You were so proud and confused with yourself for  talking to someone you didn't really know.

You generally weren't very sociable with strangers and if you were, your voice would be really quiet.

The only time you'd be loud was when you were in your Musical Theatre Club, at home or with close friends.

You strolled down the hall, wondering about the stranger you had just met.

The way he talked loudly, and how he wasn't hesitant to how his gratitude...was really uncommon.

It was unique, maybe even quirky.

Questions about him swirled around in your head, though you were generally like that whenever sharing conversation with someone.

Either way, you were curious about the tall, dark-blue haired student but not too curious to the point that you would stalk him online and in real life.

All these thoughts rummaged through your head as you walked back to the general department platform of seats.

——————————————————————————

You had definitely seen Iida before, whenever you walked down the school's hallway you'd both cross paths. You'd look at him for a slight second; but he seemed to not notice you.

You would see him at lunch time, queuing up with his friends or eating with them.

You, your classmate and friends honestly didn't want anything to do with the Hero Course Students.

Most of your friends didn't like them, while the others were just too intimidated.

And you were obviously intimidated, so talking to any Hero Course Students was definitely thrown out the window.

But when you saw that stranger at the sports festival hallway, you felt like you had to apologise.

Was it because that was your moral duty as Mei's friend?

——————————————————————————

Throughout the entire sports festival, you and your friends watched all the strong and competitive students battle against each other.

Most of them being students from Class 1-A.

Then, you saw him.

The guy that you apologised for Mei.

If you were not wrong his name was Iida.

Tenya Iida.

He was up against Shouto Todoroki.
For some reason you got a bit excited now.

Watching the battle unfold, you found yourself hoping Iida would win although you didn't show it.

Unfortunately he didn't win,
you felt a bit upset for the guy.

"Dang, that was intense."
Fuji sighed.

"I think that Mr Candy Cane Dude will win first place, he seems pretty O.P don't cha'think? Who're
you rooting for?"
Fuji asked, nudging you lightly with his left elbow.

"I was rooting for Mr Emergency Exit."
You smiled.

You had no idea how that nickname for Iida came about. It started on the day everyone called the 'U.A Break In'. Surprise surprise, that was the same day you hadn't come to school, you were sick.

Apparently, there was a social media mob break in and everyone freaked the hell out.

But from what you heard, one of the Hero Course students snapped everyone back into reality when they were a mess.

At least that's what Fuji told you.

Fujiyama Hisaka.
Your best friend since middle school.

He and you had a lot of things in common; you were both musical theatre nerds, you both loved broadway, you both loved singing and wasn't afraid to break a few minor rules.

Nothing too severe.

Unlike your other classmates and friends, he was fine with the Hero Course students; he didn't think they were scums nor did he think they were intimidating.

He just thought they were cool.

"Oh, I see. Good vote, but I don't think Mr Emergency Exit will outlast them all!"
Fuji winked at you.

"Whatever, bet you
200 yen that Mr Candy Cane will get second place."
You grinned.

"I'd beg to differ."
Fuji disagreed, putting on a mischievous grin.
"You're on."

——————————————————————————

As the sports festival was about to begin the awarding ceremony, you were on your way to the ladies restroom.

'Those matches are interesting but damn, do they take forever to finish.'
You thought to yourself, stretching every bone in your body.

Suddenly, you see a familiar figure run pass you.
You turn your head to see who it was as the wind fished through your hair, pushing your glasses up.

'Tall, buff, engines in his calves...Emergency Exit? Why's he running to the exit? The awarding ceremony begins so soon.'
You thought to yourself.

You shrugged it off and walked into the restroom.

Where was he headed and why was he was in such a rush to get there?

A/N: Thanks for reading! Yeah I know, Fuji's name is the name of the tallest mountain in Japan and as uncreative it is, I just thought it would be funny
