Midoriya cleared his voice.

"Well, um _____,
this is not a phase."

You jumped a bit.

You knew how smart, accurate and strategic
the Hero Course students were, so you were afraid that Midoriya could be correct.

"You think me having a thing for Iida isn't
a temporary phase...?"
You gradually repeated with slow hand gestures.

"Yeah."

"H-How?"

"Because...usually crushes last until you find someone more attractive than the person you have a crush on. Or maybe you find out something bad about that person. That's how you end a crush; there's no time limit.

And even if my theory of your crush being a phase being wrong, isn't that what dates are for?

To see if you're compatible or not, and if you aren't then, at least you tried right?"

It took you a few seconds to let Midoriya's intelligence sink in. You then widened your eyes and slapped both of your cheeks.

"I'M AN IDIOT."

"Y-your what?! You shouldn't slap yourself! You're still h-healing remember?"

"I don't-- I don't care! I have feelings for Iida yet I rejected the same man who's interested in me and asked me out!

I gotta go find him and explain everything!"

"Wait you're going to search for Iida-kun right now?!"

"Yes I'm going to search for Iida right now!"

"But you can't get out of your bed!
You're not fully recovered yet _____!"

You saw your glasses laying on a desk opposite to you. You were able to jump out of your hospital bed, quickly grab your glasses and sprint out of the room.

Your knee was hurting like hell as you ran, but you didn't care.

The only thing you cared about right now was Iida.

You were short sighted, so everything around you was blurry; but still clear enough for you to be able to not blindly bump into anyone or anything.

You had rushed out of the school main doors and entrance, you turn to your right to see 2 people's back, walking away.

You put your glasses on to immediately recognise Iida.

"EMERGENCY EXIT!"
You yelled.

Iida turned around to see you behind him, few feet away and out of breath.

"_____?!"
He replied loudly in surprise.

He ran to you in a matter of seconds.

"Why are you here? Aren't you suppose to be in the nurses office recovering, with Midoriya-kun?"

"...Yeah...about that.... I....I need....to tell you something."
You said in between pants.
