C.8 "Sit with me?"

'This is actually pretty good.'
You thought to yourself.

It was the middle of the week.

You were sitting on a bench;
you had a straw hat on and a sleeveless, white dress.

Your Kanken was seated right next to you.

You were reading a book with a light-pink cover.

'Fuji really is a man of his word.'
You thought.

You were reading a book that Fuji recommended, it was really interesting and 'mind blowing till the point you question your own existence!' as Fuji said in his own words.

You were at the same park (and bench) you and Iida went to before, you had to admit, when Iida brought you to the park you fell in love with it.

It was really underrated and people barely came to it (due to lack of popularity). But that was exactly what gave it it's magical charm.

As you read your book,
you heard a voice call your name.

"_____?"

You look up to see

him.

Mr Tenya Iida.

You smiled.

With the short amount of times you've spent with him, it was already a reflex to smile at the sight of Mr Emergency Exit.

"What are you doing here?"
Iida asked.

He suddenly felt more at ease when he was with you.

His heart jumped, sending a tingling
shiver throughout his body.

Iida would be lying if he said he didn't think you look good in a dress. He'd go as far as to say you look 'stop-whatever-you're-doing-and-look-and-admire-her' beautiful.

You memorised the page number
of your book and closed it. You pushed your up glasses and stood up, walking towards Iida.

"I could ask the same thing."
You nervously smiled.

Iida was wearing a light-blue, button up
shirt, black jeans with white sneakers.

"I was here to enjoy the
scenery before my hero internship begins."
Iida explained.

"O-oh, I was here cause' I also,
enjoy the scenery a lot."
You shrugged.

You gestured your hand towards the bench.

"Sit with me?"

"I'd..."
Iida hesitated.

He didn't want to interfere your afternoon, but since you were offering...

"...I'd be delighted to."
Iida smiled.
