"It's depressing just thinking about it."
You groaned.
"You're just being dramatic."
Umeda sighed, shaking her head.
"Can't you guys just make up?"
You and Umeda were talking on the phone.
It was Sunday.
"It isn't that easy, Tenya's perspective of my ambition is very important to me. I always find my myself caring about his opinion the most."
"Of course you would."
"But honestly?"
You inhaled deeply.
"His thoughts about acting is pretty crap."
"Maybe it's because from what he's witnessed,
acting must involve kissing other people."
"But it's not!"
You whined over the phone, your head miserably lying on the table as you banged it with your fist furiously.
You were utterly sick of hearing any sentence related to 'acting involves kissing'. You'd go as far to say that the thought of it made you want to puke!
"Then explain it to him!"
Umeda whined back, frustrated.
"You can't end a relationship just because he has a different perspective about theatre!"
"Hey, I'm not ending our relationship just
because of a petty argument. Plus, you don't think I've tried explaining acting?"
"Maybe if you both weren't screaming at each other's faces and were able to have a much more decent conversation, the two of you would have been able to understand each other's personal feelings about the other's passion better."
Umeda rambled.
She truly was an intelligent women.
"You're such a smartass."
You mumbled into your phone.
"There is a reason why I
am in number one in my class."
"Fine fine."
You flung your head up as you swatted your hand in the hair.
"But I still dread going to school tomorrow."
"You don't dread going to school, you dread the possibility that you could bump into your boyfriend!"
"I'm not even sure how Tenya's handling it. I'm his first girlfriend and it's his first aftermath of a fight, it's our first aftermath from a fight. How would he react? How am I suppose to react to him?"
As you said so, you glimpsed to a thin piece of paper on top of your side table.
It was the poem Tenya had written for you in response to the poem you had written him. After your fight, you were urging to crumple the paper and burn it.
"I don't know, I don't have advice for that. Either way, why are you complaining to me about your problems? What about Hisaka?"
"Ugh, don't mention him."
You groaned.
"He's been avoiding me for the past five days ever since Ayumi was hospitalised. And he's been dodging me at all costs as if his life depends on it!"
"Oh right!
I actually heard something similar to that! The word spread around from your class to ours I think."
"Togeike and Ayogamato."
You muttered.
