"We're so dumb." Paige said shaking her head as they sat on top of the kitchen counter.
"How so?" Shawn asked looking towards Paige, who sat with her legs dangling and a cup in her hand. she took a swig of it and replied. "You know what I mean. Like we didn't have to go out of the hallway or anything." Shawn brought his eyebrows together and ate a hand of popcorn.
"No, we didn't but that wasn't a problem in the moment." Shawn pointedly said getting a little exasperated. Paige lightly smiled to herself. She drank the rest of her drink and hooped off the counter.
"Wanna dance?" she said smiling at him from where he sat. He looked at her smiling but with a hint of confusion in his eyes. It seemed like she was asking everyone to dance tonight, he thought and yet still wanted to. There was something about Paige. Maybe it was how easily she could stop smiling or how easily she teased or how easily it was to be drawn to her but something was different about her... He didn't know if that was a bad thing but truly didn't care at the moment.
"Oh come one," Paige said grinning up at him. Shawn rolled his eyes in a play full way and shook his head, chuckling to himself. Paige held both of his hands pulling them down hoping he'd hop off the counter and dance with her.
"Okay okay i'm coming. No need to manhandle me." He laughed over the loud music and hooped off the counter, turning towards Paige and giving her a goofy grin that made Paige smile. 4 points.

Hey guys! I'm truly upset that I haven't posted for more than a month. I honestly really haven't been doing well mentally and haven't been in my creative mindset. I'm going on Christmas break and I will be posting a lot before school starts up again. Again, i'm so sorry for my inconsistent posting. I love my characters so much and what is a head of them for this Novel. I've thought about not making it a fanfic and changing Shawn's name. Thoughts?

I feel weird writing about a boy I don't even know and portraying him how I hope him to be. When i write i don't even think about him being Shawn Mendes. I think of him as a tall boy with a story no ones thought to tell. A boy who laughs at the most ridiculous things and patiently will watch a girl fall in love with someone else. In my head this Shawn is not Shawn Mendes but just boy who has the same name, Interests, and aspirations. He is my version and hopes of Shawn Mendes.
