School arrived in no time. Kids were walking and running down the halls and a couple friends hugged and laughed. Paige looked around for Jake. She hadn't gone to his house like she had originally promised. She had been extra tired Sunday morning and stayed in bed all morning watching Parks and Rec. She never let him know that she wasn't coming over. She assumed it'd be fine, considering how he was on her about not coming over. She rolled her eyes at how childish he could be and gathered her stuff.
Shawn got out of his car and was determined to find Paige to tell her good morning. He was greeted by a few friends. The hallways were loud and stressful at least those are the words Shawn would've used. Kids were hustling and bustling. Exams and testing made the hallways anxious. Shawn was glad that he had opted to take them last week. This week he could relax instead of having to worry about stupid exams.
"Paige!" Shawn called out seeing her brown hair from afar. He smiled as he walked up to her. She Stopped and turned around smiling. She was wear ripped jeans, a black jean jacket, and of course her black high tops. Shawn walked up to her giving her a hug a hug that Paige returned.
"Hey, how are you?" Paige asked eagerly, as she closed her locker.
"Ehh i'm good." Shawn shrugged.
Paige nodded at his response, "Testing?"
Shawn shook his head, "I thankfully got them out of the way last week."
"Ugh your so lucky, they wouldn't let me." Paige groaned.
"Hmm why not?"
"Might have something to do with me failing one of my classes." Paige shrugged, acting like it was no big, but to her it was, it was a huge deal.
"Oh... what class?"
"Chemistry.. It literally kills me, Shawn." Paige sighed.
The bell rang.
"Okay i'll talk to you later. Bye Shawn, have fun." Paige waved running to class.
Shawn smiled. He decided he liked it when Paige said his name there was something about her soft, rough, and sarcastic voice that made him want her to talk all the time.
"Shit." Shawn whispered. "I didn't say bye back." He groaned and quickly walked to his class.
