Estuko had met up with her three closest friends; they spread their congrats around and all stood beside each other sniffling and reminiscing of all of their nostalgic feats...
The acceptance rate at U.A. was just as slim as every year, with it being one in every three hundred applicants. Five students who landed the hero course were recommended by agencies or other officials or people of higher ranks, while all other forty eight of them were welcomed on pure power. They were all split into two classes of twenty four, all happy to be there.
It was the first day, their stomachs churned in unison. Rakurai and Etsuko had the same homeroom, 1-A, and Akira parted just a door before them. Approaching the classroom, they saw the powerful boy who was injured in the exams and the round faced girl, and to their surprise, that stiff kid from the orientation. Rakurai drug Etsuko along closer, headstrong.
"Hey, you're that boy!" He shouted down the hall, Etsuko covered her cheeks, which grew pink as they approached so quickly. The boy seemed to immediately go red and he clearly grew as flustered as Etsuko.
"O-oh no, more people recognized me!" He murmured.
"My friend Akira tried to help you during the exam; we all did in fact." He continued, standing in front of him.
"We're just glad you're okay." Etsuko said, interrupting him.
"O-OH! Th-th-thank you so much! I remember..." The boy said, quite pitched.
"My name's Etsuko Saigo. This is Rakurai. It's nice to finally meet you. We've been worried about you for quite some time." Etsuko introduced, stepping in front of Rakurai, his quite intimidating demeanor diminishing.
"Hi! I'm Uraraka, and this is... u-uh..."
"Izuku Midoriya!" He said nervously.
"I'm Tenya Iida." The tall, quite put together male in the doorway said with a stern face. That other boy...
"W-wait, Saigo, as in-" the green haired boy began in awe,
"Yes, this must be the daughter of one of the best pro heroes in our country! The offspring of Cyclone, the number three hero!" Iida bursted out with a large, toothy smile. Some students inside of the room hushed to look, noticing the outburst, and through the commotion a pair of piercing red eyes met hers, a boy with blonde hair, so fluffy and rigid; the sludge attack victim! She quickly tore her eyes away as Rakurai put a hand on Etsuko's shoulder protectively, as the green haired boy had began to mutter on about her quirk...
"Yeah, that's me." Rakurai noticed Etsuko's quiet, almost disappointed tone.
"Anyway, I wonder what we're doing today besides orientation; I wonder what our teachers are like, I'm so excited to meet everybody!" Uraraka bounced.
'So this is Saigo ... I haven't seen her since she was so little. Her father definitely raised her, she's collected quite a reputation at junior high for being a vigilante... tsk, tsk, tsk, hopefully she grows out of this shell.'
"If you're just here to make friends I suggest you leave now." Everyone paused, Uraraka turned slowly to look at the yellow lump on the floor.
"Welcome to U.A.'s hero coarse." It said monotonously, before unzipping itself from the sleeping pouch and sucking hard on a protein pouch.
The five students stared, dumbfounded, 'what is that thing?' They thought.
"It took eight seconds for you all to shut up, that's not going to work. Time is precious, rational students would understand that." The man stepped out of his sleeping pouch. The students stared; a sense of familiarity washed over Etsuko staring along with them at the man.
"Hello, I'm Shota Aizawa, your teacher." The whole class seemed shocked. Etsuko seemed to recognize him immediately, due to the eerie feeling of have meeting him before.
'This is really Shota?!'
"Right, let's get to it." He dug into his yellow pouch, and pulled out magnificently deep blue, patterned uniforms. "Put these on and head outside." He finished. The students continued to gawk at the man, but complied. As Etsuko followed the line of unfamiliar girls into the locker rooms across the building, her pores tingled with excitement, somehow... it felt like finding a piece of a puzzle which had been lost for a very long time.

"What!? A quirk assessment test?!" Once more, the students of class 1-A looked abashed.
"But what about orientation, we're gonna miss it!" Uraraka whined, her nerves seemed to be jumbled, as everyone else.
Aizawa faces away from the students, his expression probably irked.
"If you really want to make the big leagues, you can't waste time on pointless ceremonies." He said deeply. "Here at U.A., we're not tethered to tradition, which means I get to run my class however I see fit."
