"Up next: an update on the incident which happened at UA, at the rescue training center where hero course students were attacked by a large gang of villains. According to news police officials released, the criminal forces called themselves "The League of Villains." Investigators have reportedly uncovered that this group has been plotting to kill a UA teacher and popular hero All Might since the spring of this year. Police arrested eighty villains at the scene but the League's leader escaped. His whereabouts are unknown." The reporter droned in the background, and Etsuko's fingers trembled reading all of the regards she had received due to her injuries during the USJ attack. The doctors had conducted the reconstructive surgery on her wrist as soon as she arrived, which she knew would leave a scar. the pain felt non-existent thanks to the numbing pain killer, yet her arm still tingled at the sensation of pain her nerves were experiencing. At the moment, she had her eyes laid upon a letter her father had sent her; it was littered with stickers modeled after pro heroes like All Might, and Endeavor, and even himself, and was written in quite a sloppy script, but she could already tell it would be heartfelt;

Greetings. The air is warm here. It feels like summer is just around the corner. I hope this letter finds you well, dear; In good health and even better spirits. I have heard of what happened at the USJ, as it's all over the news all across the world by now. No one could have ever imagined that something this severe could have ever occured in such a secure facility, and to the next generation of heroes at UA, no less.

I was told of your injuries, and I couldn't stop thinking about all of the times you were hurt when we were training, even if it were just a bruise. I understand that it was all in good taste, as you were trying to save not only everyone else around you, but even yourself; sacrificing your body for the sake of others is what being a hero truly means. I had always hoped to raise someone so worthy of inheriting great power among the elite students at UA, and you just so happen to be among them.

Even when you were just so young, you were brave, and helped anyone who you thought had needed your aid, Etsuko. Even now, at the USJ, you displayed incredible bravery; you rushed into a dangerous situation that caused pro heroes to hesitate, and managed to save the lives of all of your classmates. You may not have had a plan when you acted, but you knew you had to do something.

I feel like seeing you spring into action has taught me something; it reminded me of the virtues I must embody in order to call myself a hero. A pro. That's why I meant it when I say to you: Young lady, you, too, can be a hero. Your mother would be so proud.

This ability I have, it has been passed on to you. It's a powerful ability that binds itself to your heart for the good of those in need. You will be the one needed by all, Etsuko. Even though you sometimes struggled with your newfound abilities, you never stopped fighting, and gave all you could in harnessing our quirk.

I may be your tutor now, but the day will come, Etsuko, when I trouble you for advice. I'll be counting on your wisdom and patience when that time comes. Until then, please take care of yourself as the seasons change, dear. I'll be home again soon, and then soon after gone, but until then, I shall keep you updated.

Sincerely yours.

Etsuko sighed, her heart swelling at his words; this is the most praise she had ever received from him in a lifetime, and it stung more than it healed her mental wounds; she was disappointed that her father had insisted once again that they shared the same quirk... Suddenly her phone buzzed intensely, a few messages, surely, but to her surprise there was an abundance of missed calls from fellow classmates and friends alike. One message stood out, sent by Akira:

Hey! Your father called the hospital to get permission for Rakurai and I to come eject you. School has been cancelled due to what happened yesterday, so we're on our way!
