The morning air felt thick with the rising mist from last night's evening drizzle. Voices jumped out at the school gate, not much to the student's surprise.
Anyone who was seen in a uniform was approached and questioned, anything that the press could think of came flying out of their mouths.
"Are you one of All Might's student's? Tell us-- what's the symbol of peace like in person?" Rakurai drew a blank, his face anticipating just what he'd say.
"Well, All Might is pretty... clueless, seems like, sometimes, heh..." Rakurai rubbed the back of his neck in annoyance, walking away from the enormous group of vultures, who begged to hear more.
"How is he fairing as a teacher?-- what are you learning?" Another student was asked. Rakurai watched as Iida continued to babble at the microphones held close to his face,
"His leadership and wisdom remind me on a daily basis that I attend the most prestigious educational institution. Of course, he's the personification of honor and integrity that one would expect, but he also isn't afraid to show his students a more humorous side--" he went on and on... the press soon grew quite unamused by just what they wanted from their prey, and continued to branch out, preying on every student available.
"Oh, there you are!" Rakurai unraveled his arms, his eyes brightening at the sight of his lifelong friend.
"Yeah, sorry, I've been trying to avoid the press and sneak past every one of then, but it hasn't been working so well, as you can tell..." Etsuko looked exhausted already, and they both watched as a group of reporters stalked up to the both of them.
"Excuse me! Young ma'am! Are you-- wait! You're Cyclone's kid! Tell us-- what's it like being the daughter of a Top Ten Pro Hero?" One reporter, who apparently couldn't ask loud enough.
"What? Cyclone's kid?" Other members of the press rushed over, everyone seemingly piling onto each other just to get a word from the seemingly unanimous girl.
"Saigo-san, over here!" People snapped photos, barely useful shots to them, flashes appearing like lightning in her eyes. Etsuko tries to turn away from the obnoxious crowd, but  they were consumed by the boundless reporters. Inevitably.
"You're Cyclone's daughter, right?-- what's he like with his family?-- that is to say, who's the man under the mask?" A man shouted from afar.
"Will your hero suit be modeled after your father's?" A woman asked closely.
"How do your quirks compare?!" Someone shouted, quite distressed to know. Question after question poured from their coffee-stinking mouths, and their loud façade frustrated her. It was time to put her foot down.
"HEY!" The reporters went silent, awaiting the girls words, the only sound murmuring from the crowds were camera shutters.
"My father is always away trying to protect this city and your lives just so you can stand here and ask these measly questions! And prying into his life through friends, family, and mutuals is rude and disrespectful! If you have questions, ask him yourself, although, I doubt he'll respond; he doesn't like jerks like you!" Etsuko teemed with irritation, the words spilling out of her like air from a balloon.
"Now, if you'll excuse us, we have class to attend!" Etsuko shouts another time. She takes Rakurai by the hand and stomps away, other students following closely, using this as a chance to get away from the overwhelming reporters, as they stood dazed in the entrance gates to the campus.
"RAUGH! THIS ISNT FAIR YOU LITTLE BRATS!" A woman shouted. The woman gets back into character, speaking softly, as if to beg, as a scruffy looking man shuffled over.
"Please sir, can you get All Might for us?" The lady asked, voice fluttering as she burned inside.
"All Might isn't on campus today. Now, get out of here, you've disturbed my students enough." Aizawa boomed in a deep, threatening voice, which also sounded like he could not care less. He waved his hand at the annoying group of vultures, shooing them.
"But the public wants to know how he's adjusting to life as a teacher!" She whined, her blood boiling as Aizawa simply walked back to the school; He had a class to mentor after all.
"All right. If you won't get All Might for me, I'll get him myself!" She shouted, stomping right onto the property.
"No, wait--" before anyone could even speak another word, the ground rumbled through the air, and walls flew up onto the gateway like a chomping jaw, the gates closing against the press after the last of the student's entered the campus.
"Don't you know about the school's defenses? This gate is called the UA barrier. It's designed to keep out anyone without a student ID or a special pass specifically from the school from entering the campus." A reporter explained from the other side.
"I guess it works..." Rakurai mumbled, still being drug along by the powerful grip of his friend.
"Apparently there are security sensors like it all around the campus." Etsuko mumbled. Rakurai placed one last glance of amazement at the wall before rushing to class.
