This battle would be an interesting one, Etsuko thought, as she had never actually sparred with Rakurai head to head. Whenever they were trying to improve on something, they'd experiment all types of different ways to engage their quirks, if anything.
Before the villain team entered the assigned building, Rakurai stopped Etsuko in her tracks, a hand on her shoulder, "Don't hold back, okay?" Rakurai's eyes held determination to win, and a burning in his heart for his friend, wishing her well all the while... He swore to himself he would do his best, and knew that she should, too.
"Yeah." Etsuko clenched her fist, beginning to emit a small giggle. Rakurai cocked his head in curiosity,
"What's so funny?" He quirked a brow; Etsuko waved her finger, your hero suit looks just like it does in your notes." He smiled, it was cute that she noticed.
"Well seeing you just was a total surprise; you were definitely inspired by your mom. Isn't that suit a little breezy?" He chuckled. Etsuko took slow strides past him, attempting to exude confidence and cunning, and she felt it slowly leaching its way into the fabrics of her being.
"I'm just happy it looks okay." She smiled at him, fiddling with the ribbon wrapped around her low bun. They paused, beaming positively into each other.
"I mean, wow! What are the chances of being paired up with one of the top Pro Heroes daughter! Oh, I'm so excited to see how you fight; I wonder if you have any moves that are better than Cyclones?"
"Not really... my dad taught me everything I know, and We often spar, so there really isn't anything he does that I can do better." Etsuko stated sheepishly, looking through the materials given to them.
"Do you have the capture tape?" Etsuko asked.
"Yeah, here!" Fuji handed it over to her without even questioning it.
"Good, thanks! Okay, we have a few minutes before the match starts; I have a plan..."
Fuji's eyes lit up as she listened to her partner speak.

"All right! Let's begin the combat training! Team K and team L, your time starts now!" All Might's voice erupted through the entire facility, and Rakurai slowly made his way toward the building, Hatsumomo "Beetle girl" Aburame following closely behind.
"Do you have a plan?" She asked knowingly.
"I still have no idea of how this will play out. Etsuko is pretty unpredictably clever at times, and considering I've never actually fought her before, we're at a disadvantage."
"What? Isn't she your best friend?"
"Well, yeah... but it just never happened. I guess now's a good a time as any." Rakurai sighed, almost laughing at the thought.
"So, basically, we don't have a plan? What are we supposed to do?" Hatsmomo sounded anxious and irritated as her fingers got entangled in themselves like her nerves.
"Do you have any ideas?" He asked, heading around the building, looking for a way in and eventually settling on the fire escape. Climbing, Hatsumomo grunted, heaving her weight with the beetles onto the metal.
"My beetles can sense other people's presence, and collect Intel If I'd wanted them to. There are a lot of clever things I can do with them." Hatsumomo thought hastily as they encountered the dark innards of the arena.

"Pay attention carefully, kids! Think about what you would do every step." All Might reminded the others, as the battle had started off very slowly, with twelve minutes to spare.

'If this wasn't a time structured excercise, this would probably go on forever.' Rakurai thought.
'Etsuko is, honestly, unpredictable, and resorts to cheap tactics if she was very desperate. She works hard, and makes every move count, so this may just be a tough one...'
A few more minutes bypassed, leaving several minutes between the two. Hatsumomo had taken extra care in placing her little spies through out the structure, crawling, scuttling around, the made their way all back to her.
"The weapon is placed in the center of the room on the top floor."
"Okay. How should we move?"
"Hold on..." Hatsumomo seemed confused suddenly, perplexed even...
"There are four people in the building?!" Hatsumomo said breathily, disbelief showing on Rakurai's features.
"What do you... it's could be one of the villain's quirks."
"No." Hatsumomo was quick to shut that idea down, "You saw her quirk that day, she basically emits a burst of energy once it's all stored up."
'Then what is this... is this an obstacle? Part of the excercise?' Rakurai thought, unsure of what to think.
"Well, we'd do best just to avoid them. Especially if we aren't sure what it really is."
"You're right... do you think it's a good idea to draw them away from the weapon?"
"Like, split up?"
"Yeah, draw the villains away, or whatever else is here, away from our target so it's easier to capture the weapon." Hatsumomo suggested confidently.
"I can send my beetles to help, and if anything goes too wrong, we can regroup."
The worst thing to happen is that we are overpowered by these mystery villains, but I can't tel her that... she will only worry more, I need to help her keep a steady head, Rakurai thought.
"-We clear the floors together." Rakurai decided.
'They're walking right into their grasps...' All Might thought.
