Etsuko sighed, flopping back into the cushions. Her alarm had just awoken her,
"Well, time to start the real experience... we won't have time to relax, the real test begins today, huh..." She dressed and prepared to briskly pace her way to the school.
"Etsuko!" She heard, just before she left...

U.A.'s hero course curriculum, there are normal core classes, like english; they meet in the mornings. They eat lunch in the cafeteria, where they can buy nearly anything for a low cost.
In the afternoon is when everyone's favorite part of the school day happens: hero basic training.

The students awaited the afternoons antics, when suddenly the door flew open,
"I am here! Standing heroically in the doorway!" All Might said, Etsuko appreciating his humor.
Hey, he's wearing his silver age supersuit... Etsuko thought, Tsuyu reciting just the same thing.
"Its giving me goose bumps it's so retro!" Ojiro, a boy with a powerful looking tail, exclaimed, a big smile in his face. Etsuko's stomach fluttered, ecstatic to be seeing All Might himself in the classroom. Her father may have been the number three hero, but no one can beat the best of the best!
"Welcome to the most important class at U.A. high; think of it as "becoming a hero, 101." All Might shot his finger into the air, his smile never faltering... how does his face not hurt from smiling that much? Etsuko thought, shaking it off, as it wasn't important. She often found that she always seemed to question a lot of things that were irrelevant.
"Here, you will learn the basics of becoming a pro. And, what it means to fight in the name of good," All Might flexed, his muscles rippling and students expressed their awe. "Let's get to It! Today's lesson will pull no punches!"
"Fight training!" Bakugo bursts out, sounding almost like an animal as his voice rasped.
"Real combat?" Another student questioned quietly. Some were a bit worried, but remained determined under the presence of All Might.
"But one of the keys to becoming a pro hero is..."
Before they enrolled at U.A. high school, they submitted their quirk registration forms; which included physical measurements and any desired costume designs to an exclusive clothing company designated by the school. With all that info, they created state-of-the-art costumes for the students.
"LOOKING GOOOOD!!!" All Might seemed overly excited himself, pressing a button on a remote-like device, which caused inserts in the wall to open, revealing suitcase-like containment boxes, "These were designed for you based on your quirk registration forms and requests..."

"Etsuko!" Etsuko looked to her brother's voice from the entrance of the sizable home, worried she'd be late if she stood around any longer.
"Etstuko," Hikaru placed a warm hand on her shoulder, feeling the familiar material of the school uniform, "Congradulations! I'm so proud of you for making it into U.A.!" His eyes glazed over, and Etsuko knew that if he started crying, she would, too... Jomei held out his hand, something laying in his palm.
"What is it?" Etsuko picked up the edge daintily, the item sliding from his hand like a snake, before it hung between her fingers.
"Well, I may have been going just about crazy over you getting into U.A., and was searching all over the place for it." Jomei ran his fingers through his light hair sheepishly.
"I remembered something a friend of our mothers had said to me once; "whether you win or lose... you can always come out ahead by learning from the experience.""
"To be honest with you, I've been feeling quite... disappointed since you'd been accepted," Etsuko looked almost... confused, her cheeks darkening and her face twisting anxiously. "N-NOT in you! I'm not disappointed in you, I'm..." his eyes dropped, "I'm disappointed mom couldn't be here to give it to you herself."
"She always was excited to see you grow up, she was always thinking it never even mattered what you did, or how you did it, what mattered was that she was always with you in some way; We were always with you... We will always be by your side, rooting for you " A tear slid from his eye, then another, then more and more cascaded from his cheeks, Hikaru's face twitching alongside his.
"Oh! And look at you! You persevered, and exceeded even father's expectations. You kept chasing your dream. I'm sorry mom can't be here to see you, Etsuko, but I promise I'll be here to support you every step of the way from here on out!" Hikaru pleaded with wet cheeks. As siblings, this could've been one of the most important moments they shared, both crying thick tears.
"Its yours now, sis.Your mother's good luck ribbon. As Etsuko traveled with tear stained cheeks, doubt still swirled in her stomach like a sickening smog; she was terrified of what her father would say if she should fail. Etsuko prayed this simple ribbon was truly lucky. She wore it all the time at U.A.

"Get yourselves suited up and head to Training Ground Beta!" All Might instructed. The student all stood from their chairs and headed to grab their supersuits, Etsuko walked on carefully with tears in her eyes.
It's a gift from my mom, so of course it's what I'm going to wear! It's not state-of-the-art or flashy, but it means something... to me, Etsuko told herself; the group of first year hero course students stepped pridefully through the dark tunnel into the training area. On by one, they stepped into the light of the sunshine. The air was warm and inviting, and Etsuko basked in it joyously in the cluster of classmates.
"You ready to learn, you buncha newbies!" All Might stood tall, hands at his hips as his cape swayed in the breeze. He looked majestic, surely a lot of them thought.
"Look at you! You all look so cool!" All Might mumbled, gawking over how different and amazing each of every one of his pupils supersuits appeared.
"Ahem," he reconstructed his composure, "Now that you're all it's time for combat training."
"Sir," a heavily armored classmate shot his hand into the air... Iida!?
"This is the fake setting from our entrance exams. Does this mean well be conducting urban battles again?"
"Not quite! I'm moving you all two steps ahead. Most of the villain fights you see on the news take place outside. However, statistically speaking, run-ins with the most dastardly villains take place indoors, or in an enclosed location. Think about it; backroom deals, home invasions, underground lairs. Truly the most intelligent criminals stay hidden in the shadows." All Might explained, his voice quite serious as he spoke to his pupils.
"For this training exercise, you'll be split into teams of good guys and bad guys, and fight two-on-two indoor battles." Tsuyu put her finger to her chin thoughtfully,
"Isn't this a little adavnced?"
"The best training is what you get on the battle field!" All Might pointed, sounding as if it was more just advice.
"But remember, you can't just punch a robot this time; you're dealing with actual people now." All Might said.
"Sir, will you be deciding who wins?" Yaoyorozu cut in. Bakugou saw this a chance to be aggressive and unsportsmanlike, "How much can we hurt the other team?"
"Do we have to worry about the losing team being expelled, like the other day?" Uraraka grew concerned.
"Will you be splitting us up by chance or comparative skill?" Iida voice shot above all the others.
"Isn't this cape tras chic?" The sparkling boy from the entrance exam fluttered his cape, fanning it out; it simmered just like his hair.
"I WASN'T FINISHED TALKING! Listen up! The situation is this!" The student silenced themselves to listen, the noise making Etsuko flinch.
"The villains have hidden nuclear weapons somewhere in their hideout. The heroes must try to foil their plans. To do that," all might posed tall again, "The good guys either have to catch the evildoers or recover the weapon; likewise the villains succeed if they protect their payload or capture the heroes."
"Time is limited and we'll choose teams by drawing lots!"
All Might held a box in front of the crowd. Rakurai's chest felt heavy, "Isn't there a better way?" For a great deal of time now, Rakurai has relied on Etsuko's quirk to further enhance his quirk using combination attacks, and was worried he's have no help in the exercise to come. Even though Rakurai doubted his abilities, Etsuko had the upmost faith in him, as he was very observant and quick on his feet, and he learned everything from her; who better to learn from than someone who is being trained by the 3rd Top Hero?!
"Think about It!" Izuku's eyes beamed up at Rakurai, "Pros often have to team up with other heroes from different agencies on the spot, so maybe that's the reason we're seeing that here." He explained.
"Yes, I see!" Rakurai said.
"Hm... excuse my interruption, All Might!" Rakurai squeezed the back of his neck sheepishly.
"No sweat! Let's draw!"
One by one, classmates drew slips of paper from the small yellow box, Etsuko landing on team L, one of the last teams.

"Teams:
Team A: Uraraka & Izuku
Team B: Shoji & Todoroki
Team C: Mineta & Yaoyorozu
Team D: Bakugou & Iida
Team E: Aoyama & Mins
Team F: Satou & Kota
Team G: Jirou & Kaminari
Team H: Tsuyu & Tokoyami
Team I: Ojiro & Hagakure
Team J: Zero & Kirishima
Team K: Rakurai & Hatsumomo
Team L: Ocha & Fuji!" All Might recited.
"I declare the first team to fight will be..." the students waited anxiously, almost hoping it would be them, or pleading it wasn't in fear of bakugou's behavior.
"THESE GUYS!!!" All Might held up two balls from the drawing bins, the letters K and L.
What do you know, my best friend my turned enemy, the two thought in unison. Rakurai was playing the part on the heroes team, while Etsuko tried to mold into the villainous roll; Etsuko nearly got chills at how seemingly easy it was for her, negative feelings intertwining with the raw determination of youth fueling her character. Team L will be victorious!
"Everyone else can head to the monitoring room to watch!"
"Yes sir!" A plenty amount of classmates replied.
