A message from the judge: I have been really harsh while judging these books. They were all enjoyable. Sorry for nitpicking the mistakes. I felt it was better to be late and give honest reviews instead of doing it in a hurry with no time , because that would be unfair for authors who put their heart and soul into the books.
Congratulation to those who made it through Round 4.
Those who remains have their score equal or above 70% (meaning at least 38.5/55).
Those with their name and book title, bolded means they made it, those with their name and book title italicized means they did not. The total score for both types will be bolded.
I'm trying out the new lay-out to see which is the most convenience for viewing and look less cumbersome. Please do tell me if it's more confusing or worse.
Also, do tell me if you prefer to have the parting list or not.
Any now, the results.
The following list is in no particular order.
1. Captain Norch and the Crai, and the Time he met the Jemily by @JenniferJonnes
Title: 2/5( Really not sure how this pans out )
Plot: 7/10( A solid plot which is really straightforward. Lacks the scope for surprises)
Characterization : 7/10 ( What I loved was the characters are defined really well and as the story moves on character development is great.)
Cover: 3/5 ( a great cover , but could have been great picture anywhere too so not sure with its use a a cover )
Description: 4/5 ( I liked it , the way it brings out the condition of the characters is beautifully done)
Grammer: 7/10 ( No mistakes in sentence formation , but the writing can be improved a lot)
Creativity : 7/10 ( I like the creativity in characterization but the plot seems kind of straighforward . Has room for improvement )
Total score: 37/50
Overall it was an enjoyable read.
2. Smoke and Mirrors by @Elflover21
Title: 2/5 ( lacks originality , Such a common title used by so many people )
Plot: 6/10 ( Plot itself is great , but so many components are similar to the K- Dramas I have watched , to me seems unoriginal )
Characterization: 6/10 ( Good enough characters , but the character development is not really present at all )
Cover: 3/5 ( It is a normal cover again nothing awe inspiring)
Description : 3.5/5 ( I like how it is done , personally)
Grammer : 8/10 ( well written , I liked the writing style a lot )
Creativity: 6/10 ( Can be more creative with the plot and title )
Total score: 34.5/55
Overall an enjoyable read.
3. Valenchore by @TheDESnow
Title: 3.5/5 ( Interesting to use the world as the title , but gives personality to the story I think)
Plot: 7/10 ( There were some slip ups but overall it is strong )
Characterization: 6/10 ( Good characters , but could have been described better)
