I woke up to the annoying beeping that I have come to hate. I felt a weight on my right arm and I turned to see Jason asleep with his head resting on it.

"Jase?" I asked quietly as the door opened. "Clark what happened?" I asked as he noticed I was awake.

"You passed out from blood loss. You should have seen the EMT first. Not me. I just have a few stitches. You have one hundred and two stitches in your back." Clark said shaking his head as he noticed that Jason was asleep.

"Clark I was more worried about Alice than myself. How is she?" I asked moving my arm out from under Jason's head.

"She is struggling. But she still wants to marry me. I told her there might be a chance that she can't have kids. She smiled and said as long as she's with me everything will be okay." Clark said tears in his eyes. "This is my fault. I ruined your wedding I cost my fiancee our baby. And I didn't realize how bad off you really was." Clark said wiping away tears.

"Clark. Stop that. Everything happens for a reason. And it all works out in the end. Look at Jason and I. We worked through my lies and deception. You and Alice will work this out." I said confidently as Jason woke up staring at me wide eyed.

"Grace!" He exclaimed and Clark rolled his eyes before backing out of the room.

"It's not your fault!" I called out as the door was closing behind him.

"Are you okay? Do you need anything?" Jason asked standing only to fall flat on his face once he tripped on the sheet on the bed. I started laughing as he groaned.

"Take me home. And bring me Cassidy." I said as he stood back up.

"Grace your doctor said you need to stay until Friday." Jason said apologetically shaking his head.

"Jason Friday is in two days. I'm not going to make it in here. Take me home now or I will leave on my own." I threatened and he winced.

"I'm going to find Clark. He will let me take you. I think." Jason said starting for the door.

"Jase? You forgetting something?" I asked with a smile. Jason frowned as I reached up and tapped my lips. His eyes widened and walked towards me. He leaned down and pressed his lips to mine. "Jase I love you." I said when he pulled away a few seconds later.

"I love you more." Jason said before leaving the room and I stood and dressed in the clothes that Mom must have brought with her.

"Grace?" A whisper came from the closet. "Grace get me out of here?" The whisper said louder as I stepped closer. I pulled open the door and stared at Alice in shock.

"How long have you been there?" I ask holding out a hand and pulling her up. "Are you okay?" I asked as I looked at her pale face.

"Yeah. I'm fine. I can't stay here. Everywhere I go I hear a babies cry. And it reminds me that I will never hold my baby." Alice said crying as I pulled her into a hug.

"Ali I'm so sorry. Come on lets get out of here before Jason comes back with Clark." I said wrapping an arm around her shoulders as we started towards the door as it flew open surprising us both. We took a quick step backwards and Alice tripped bringing me down with her.

I looked up at Clark and Jason with a look of hatred. "How dare you barge in here like you own the fucking place! We could have been seriously hurt!" I screamed pissed off as I stood up.

"We couldn't let you leave." Clark said as Jason raised his hands in surrender.

"And why the hell not?" I asked helping Alice up again.

"Because. The house um. Isn't ready." Clark stuttered out.

"What do you mean the house isn't ready?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"It is um. A surprise." Clark said as Jason laughed. We all turned to stare at him.

"I told you that you would let it slip. Pay up." Jason said holding out his hand as Clark slammed a fifty into it.

"I think you should explain." I said and I saw Alice nod next to me.

"How about we take you home? That way we can show you." Jason suggested earning a glare from Clark.

"That works to." Alice and I said at the same time and they both rolled their eyes at us.

"Well come on." Jason said and they both turned and walked out the door. I looked at Alice and she shrugged so we followed after.

As we pulled up to my house nothing seemed out of the ordinary. "Come on girls. We have a surprise for you." Clark said helping Alice out of the car while Jason just went straight into the house.

"Well then." I muttered getting out myself as Clark ran inside leaving Alice alone. "Well it must not be that important." I said walking to her side and she nodded looking close to tears.

"Wonder what the surprise is?" I asked wrapping an arm around her waist and helping her to the door. I pushed open the door and we both gasped.

My living room was lined with our family and at the front stood Clark and Jason with a minister. "Alice. I'm not imagining this am I?" I asked and she shook her head.

"We are getting married." Alice said shocked just like me.

"SURPRISE!!!" Everyone screamed a second later and we both jumped. I looked over at him and we started to walk towards them.

"Let's go." I whispered walking forward and dragging Alice with me. "Alice." I whispered and she blinked repeatedly.

"This is really happening." Alice whispered as we slowly approached them. I nodded and she smiled widely. I handed her over to Clark who looked like he was about to burst with pride.

I grabbed Jason's hand allowing him to pull me into his side. "Jase this is perfect. I love you." I said as he gave me a one armed hug while smirking.
