rae's house seven pm
I swore to myself, I was hearing things. He didn't just say I make working at the shitty ice cream shop actually worth it .
"I'm gonna see if she needs any help." Jimin stood from his chair, grabbing his barely touched plate. I quickly turned on the sink as I hear footsteps approaching the kitchen.
"You need any help?"
"Nah, I'm good." I shrugged it off, going back to the plate I was holding.
"Well I asked because I noticed you haven't even finished washing a single plate." He pointed to the pile of dirty dishes next to the sink.
"I like to take my time with things." I crossed my arms while holding a sponge in my hand.
"So do I." He whispered, with a tedious smile.
"I think it's time for you to leave." I sighed, turning the water off.
"Why? Because your parents actually like me?" He raised his brow.
"Last time I checked, my mom still hates you. My dad is friendly with everyone. He literally would make friends with someone who robbed him."
"You're just jealous." He teased.
"Jealous of what?" I snickered, eyeing him up and down.
"I don't know, I got nothing." He sighed with smile, and nervously scratched the back of his head. Is park Jimin nervous or am I just seeing things?
"I'll walk you out." I offered, drying my hands.
"You're kicking me out so soon?" Jimin said loudly.
I widened my eyes, mouthing the words 'shut' 'up' to him.
"Honey, don't be rude to your guest." I heard my dad yell from the kitchen. I groaned, letting my head rest in my hands. He held his hand over his chest, nearly falling back while silently laughing.
"You're interesting Jimin." I eyed him up and down again, before walking him to the door.
"He has to go." I muttered, hoping my parents wouldn't hear and ask me questions.
"Why so soon? We made coffee." My dad said, being the hospitable father he is.
