THE LAKE 2 ᴀᴍ
"Rae."
"Yeah." I looked up from the floor.
"I wanted to ask you something." He held both my hands. "So you know how the dance is on Satur—
"Park Jimin." My lips curved into a shy smile. "Why do you keep doing this to me."
"Because I love seeing you so flustered." He pinched my waist.
"So, will you be my date?" Jimin slowly spun me around.
"Of course I will." I laid my forehead on his.
"Good, because I wasn't gonna take no for an answer." He whispered, before smirking.
—
Jimin swung our hands back and forth as we walked down the street. We were close to our houses, which meant it was time to say goodbye. I didn't know how long it would be until I saw him again, but I would never lose hope. "Here, let me help you." He rushed over to me when he saw me struggling to climb the grapevines that covered the side of my house.
I rolled my eyes when I felt his hand on my ass.
"Gee, thanks for the help."
"It's not my fault you don't know how to climb." He playfully muttered, before slapping my ass. "You got it?"
"Yeah, one second." I mumbled before I literally dove into my room.
Jimin gritted his teeth as he heard me knock ten things over. "You okay?" He chuckled, running his hands through his hair as he waited for an okay from me. I gave a thumbs up from the floor, letting him know that I was fine.
"Goodnight baby." He gently spoke, before turning away.
"Jimin." I whispered from the window.
"What?" He whispered back.
"I love you."
"I know." He smirked.
I rolled my eyes, before shutting my window. I laid on my comfy bed, resting on my back as thoughts started to circulate in my mind. I looked at the clock and groaned. It was two in the morning and my parents come back tomorrow. I'm gonna have to tell them about the dance some way.
MORNING 10 ᴀᴍ
I rubbed my eyes while also trying not to fall on the stairs. I'm positive, Misses Graham was still asleep in the guest room, since I couldn't hear her sewing machine. This was the perfect time to call Brooke and tell her to come over. I grabbed the phone and dialed her number. "Brooke, hey, yeah I know I'm still alive." I answered her silly questions. "I need you to come over."
