LUCIFER'S VACATION
CHAPTER TWO

Jerry's hands were on his back and he's murmuring things. I irritably stared at him. He's just wasting my precious time! Kanina pa siya pabalik-balik na naglalakad sa harap ko. Isa na lang talaga at ipapatapon ko na siya sa pinaka ilalim na parte ng impiyerno.

I shut my eyes tightly and took a deep, deep breath. My patience is about to reach its limit and I need to calm down.

With gritted teeth, I said, “So, what is your decision?”

He looked at me for a few seconds and sighed.

I raised my right eyebrow. How could he sigh in front of me? Pangahas. Gusto niya bang burahin ko na siya ng tuluyan maging sa mundong ito? I can easily bring back that seventh arc's flame here and burn his soul.

“My lord, I can't do what you want this time. That is just... very wrong!”

That's it. The last straw of my patience was gone.

My eyes burned in anger. Sunod-sunod na kulog ang pumalit sa ingay ng mga nagkukumahog na kaluluwa. “So, a demon is now lecturing me about what's right and wrong.” I said mockingly. My hands turned into fists.

He looked away and his jaw tightened. He's mad and so am I.

I huffed as I think of a way to make him agree. The gentle talk is done.

Seconds passed.

I cleared my throat. The thunders stopped roaring. “Jerry, Jerry, Jerry. Let's have a deal.” sabi ko at lumapit sa kaniya. “I'll grant one of your wish, just one wish. The one that you really want the most. Think of it.” I put my hands on his shoulders and squeezed them.

“Say anything and I'll grant it for you. But of course... You need to do what I told you to.” My grin widened when his eyes become uneasy.

He's a demon after all. He just can't refuse my offer. He's tempted. He wants it because he's greedy and I know that he will do anything just to get what he wants. They are all transparent when it comes to choices.

He looked at me and sighed in defeat. “Fine. But just for a day, right?”

I combed my hair using my fingers. “Nope. I changed my mind,” kinibit ko ang mga balikat. “I'll be there for as long a I wanted to.”

“But—”

“No buts or I'll gut you open and I will let Cerberus to eat you, want that?” panghahamon ko.

“No, My lord.”

I simpered and smirked as I nod. “That's good then.” I snapped my fingers. “Let me see how will you copy my handsome face.”

He lazily took two steps back. He closed his eyes and focused. After a few seconds, his skin stretched and became something like a slime.

Unti-unting naging pula ang balat niya at dahan-dahang lumabas ang mga itim na tinta mula sa dulo ng kaniyang daliri at gumapang sa iba't ibang parte ng kaniyang katawan saka umarko na tila sumasayaw. Bumubuo ang mga ito ng mga marka na katulad ng sa akin. Mas humaba ang sungay niya na tumuturo pataas. Umikli naman ang buhok niya. Apat na pulgada ang kaniyang itinangkad at mas lumawak ang mga balikat niya.

Afterwards, I saw my majestic face like I was looking at a mirror. What a handsome face I got.

“Is this fine, My lord?” Even his voice sounds like mine. I suddenly felt irritated. “Yes, that's good enough.” I commented with my forehead creased.
