ALANA
From the few hours that I'd spent with this group, I'd realised how truly unorganised they were. We all had seen each other before on numerous occasions but were never interested in speaking to each other. All of our parents were scientists and frequently had meetings, however, If i really think about it, Vivian was perhaps the only teen who cared about those meetings.
The entire situation was way too abnormal, why were they here? Vivian said that our mother had given us the cure. Were they the other people that she gave it to?
Were they zombies as well?
Being a zombie didn't exactly sit well with me either. I'd read countless books about zombies and the probability of there being an apocalypse and never did I ever think I'd be in this position.
Vivian must be immune as well but I had absolutely no idea where she was right now!
"This doesn't add up." I say aloud, everyone's eyes were on me.
"Tell me about it" Mack said casually leaning against a wall. But, I was pretty sure we weren't thinking the same thing. I knew he didnt just find my house by chance, but I would figure that out later.
Sitting on a chair I put my head into my hands "There's no way the virus spread from Portland to Redville overnight"
"This entire situation feels staged-I mean where the hèll did our parents all run off to?" Andre said.
I agreed with him, with a slight nod of my head.
"So let me get this clear" I let out a soft sigh "Nobody here has seen or heard from their parents yet"
"No, my parents left for work this morning...Actually no they didn't! I cant even remember seeing or hearing from them since last night." Emily sounded stressed, "I dont think they came home"
"I havent heard from my parents either" Samantha said.
"Same here" Andre said.
My eyes fell upon Mack who didn't say anything. Why wasn't he talking now, I remembered that he had my gun. Better not mess with him.
The most I did was give him an expectant look, to which he ignored.
Maybe he killed his own parents, I didn't know him enough to assume he was a good person. He seemed to just remember that he had left the young child in the hot car and soon returned with a timid looking kid trailing behind him.
"We're not staying here, we cant" I say remembering that Connor would be back soon.
After explaining what had happened to the group upstairs and the Connpr man who showed up, we all seemed content to leave the house go a different location. After driving for about half an hour, Mack stopped at a gas station. The tank was far from empty.
"This isn't very far from my house, plus the tank is full" I say walking up to the man who was lighting a cigarette.
In a gas station
What a genius.

"Well well well. What do we have here?" A masculine but yet familiar voice called, followed by the clicking of guns.He actually managed to track us down.
I would applaud him if only there weren't several firearms aimed in my direction. I had no doubt this was the guy from the theatre. The man who witnessed me murder twelve of his own people.
Connor.
I turned around slowly, not even slightly surprised when I see him "Why were you following us?" Andre asked.
